How to Play Swertres Lotto
Playing Swertres Lotto is easy. Here’s the step-by-step instruction for playing this popular numbers game:
- Pick three (3) numbers that will compose your Swertres combination. You can mark numbers 0 to 9, one number for each column.
- If you can’t think of any number, mark the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the system automatically pick the number combination for you.
- Choose Rambolito System Play in case you want the system to automatically generate the possible combinations of the digits you have chosen.
- Pick your bet amount in the AMT column.
- Choose the number of draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Hand over your playing card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket after it is generated.
- After the draw, view the Swertres result to know if you won the prize.
Each Swertres number combination costs PhP 12. The play amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your Swertres ticket. Store it in a safe and dry place.
Do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.
Remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim lotto prizes.
Lucky Pick is also available in the Rambolito System Play, but the option of repeating digits is not applicable.

Swertres FAQs – Important Information about your Favorite PCSO game
How can I win prizes in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you mark three (3) digits, one for each column consisting of numbers 0 to 9.
If your entry matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you choose Rambolito option in your play slip.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize even if your marked combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much lower than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 if your marked combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your selected combination has one repeating digit.
If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
Do I win anything if I get all the Swertres winning numbers but NOT in exact order?
You win either PhP 1,500 or PhP 750 but only if you played the Rambolito option.
You do not win anything in Straight or Standard Play if your Swertres number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.
How do I correct the numbers I entered in the Swertres bet slip?
To cancel or disregard a specific Swertres number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the bet card to the cashier.
Please note that you can only void a Swertres entry before purchasing the ticket. A Swertres entry that has been processed by the system can no longer be voided or canceled.

In Swertres Lotto Straight Play, the odds of getting the three winning numbers in exact order is 1 in 1000 while the odds of winning in Swertres Rambolito 6 and Rambolito 3 Plays are 1 in 167 and 1 in 333, respectively.
Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?
PCSO regularly cancels its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO adjusts its draw schedule so that all draws are finished early in the afternoon.

February 10, 2021– PCSO discourages everyone from buying tickets from entities claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. PCSO states it does not have any such platform yet.
