How to Play Swertres Lotto

These are the detailed steps when playing the PCSO Swertres Lotto:

  1. Select a combination of three (3) numbers from one (1) to nine (9) in each column on a Swertres playing card.
  2. If you cannot think of any number combination, choose Lucky Pick (LP) to let the computer select the Swertres number combination for you.
  3. Mark Rambolito in case you want the computer to automatically generate all the possible combinations of the numbers you have chosen.
  4. Pick the amount that you want to play for each combination.
  5. For Advance Plays, select the number of consecutive draws in the Draw Draw section.
  6. Pay the ticket price and get your generated ticket once done.
  7. View the Swertres result after the scheduled draw to verify if you matched the winning number combination.

Swertres ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your Swertres ticket and keep it in secure and dry place.

Do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize.

Please note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the prizes.

You can also to play the Rambolito. Select a 3-digit number combination and the system will automatically permutate and generate all its possible combinations. If the selected 3-digit combination has no repeating digits, e.g.123, the number of combinations generated will be six (6). If the selected 3-digit combination has two (2) repeating digits, e.g. 122, the number of combinations generated will be three (3).

Important Health and Safety Rules to be Observed when Playing Swertres Lotto

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following rules in all lotto outlets nationwide.

  1. Put on your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting scheme shall be followed at all outlets nationwide.
  2. Follow social distancing when placing Swertres bets.
  3. Use your own ball pen to decrease the risk of getting infected with the virus.
  4. Place the bet slips and cash in the tray provided by the lotto outlet to decrease physical contact.
  5. Use disinfectants or sanitizers before you leave the lotto outlet.
  6. Use the garbage bins provided to discard used play slips and/or non-winning tickets.

Swertres Lotto Prizes for Straight/Standard and Rambolito Plays

Swertres is one of PCSO’s popular digit game. PCSO employs the following payout structure for Swertres Lotto:

In Standard or Straight Play, a player takes home PhP 4,500 if he gets all three winning numbers in exact order.

In Rambolito 3 play, the player takes home PhP 1,500 in case he gets one pair of same digit and another digit in any order while in Rambolito 6 play, the winner receives PhP 750 if he matches the three different digits in any order.

How to win a prize in Swertres Lotto?

You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you choose three (3) numbers, one for each column composed of numbers 0 to 9.

If your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.

The Standard/Straight Play is the default play unless you mark Rambolito option in your play slip.

In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize even if your selected combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much lower than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your marked number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 in case your selected combination has one repeating digit.

If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

What is DST?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).

PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

What is the price of a Swertres Lotto ticket?

A player can purchase the Swertres ticket for 12 Pesos per combination at any authorized PCSO lotto outlet. This amount is inclusive of the Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
