How to Play Swertres Lotto
Playing Swertres Lotto is easy. Here’s the step-by-step instruction for playing this popular numbers game:
- Pick three (3) digits between 0 to 9, one from each column. These numbers will be your Swertres combination.
- Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option lets the system to randomly generate the number combination for you.
- Mark Rambolito if you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the computer automatically computes and generates all the possible combinations for the numbers you selected.
- Pick your bet amount in the AMT section.
- Choose the number of draws you want to play in the Draw section.
- Hand over your bet slip and payment to the teller and get your generated ticket once printed.
- Check the Swertres result here right after the live draw to verify if your ticket matches the winning combination.
One Swertres number combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the Swertres ticket. Store it in a safe and dry place.
Your ticket has to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.

How can I win prizes in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you select three (3) numbers, one for each column consisting of digits 0 to 9.
If your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in the bet card.
In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize even if your selected number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your selected combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your selected number combination has one repeating digit.
If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

Are Swertres Lotto winnings tax-exempt?
Swertres Lotto prizes are not subject to the 20% tax imposed by the TRAIN Law because the highest Swertres prize is only PhP 4,500.
Only prizes exceeding PhP 10,000 are taxable.
How do I win in Rambolito?
Rambolito is a Swertres Lotto game variation that allows its players win prizes even if they did not match the winning numbers in exact order.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 or Rambolito 3.
In Rambolito 6, you select a number combination with three different digits (e.g. 5-8-6), creating a total of six (6) number combinations. If the Swertres winning numbers match your number combination in any order, you take home a prize worth PhP 750.
In Rambolito 3, you choose a number combination composed of one repeating digit and another digit (e.g. 3-3-5), generating a total of three (3) number combinations. If any of your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you take home a prize of PhP 1,500.
To play Rambolito, mark the Rambolito option in the Swertres bet slip.
Who are allowed to play Swertres Lotto?
PCSO only allows persons aged 18 and above to play the Swertres Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place because of the on-going COVID-19 epidemic.
