How to Play Swertres Lotto
These are the complete steps when playing the Swertres Lotto:
- Pick three (3) digits between 0 to 9, one from each column. These numbers will be your Swertres combination.
- Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option lets the system to automatically choose the number combination for you.
- Choose Rambolito in case you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the system automatically computes and generates all the possible combinations for the numbers you selected.
- Mark your bet amount in the AMT column.
- Mark the number of draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Give your bet slip and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
- See the Swertres result here right after the scheduled draw to verify if your ticket matches the winning number combination.
Swertres ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the Swertres ticket. Store it in a secure and dry place.
Your ticket must be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.
Note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim prizes.
Matching all your numbers with the winning combination in exact order gives you 4,500.00 for every 12.00 play.
New Health and Safety Regulations to be Observed when Playing Swertres Lotto
PCSO has implemented the regulations below to be followed by Swertres Lotto bettors in the country.
- Always wear your face mask. Bettors without face mask will not be permitted to play Swertres.
- Follow physical distancing at all times while in the outlet.
- Bring your own ball pen when placing bets.
- Use the tray provided when handing out your bet card and payment.

In Straight or Standard Play, a player receives PhP 4,500 in case he matches all three winning numbers in exact order.
In Rambolito 3 play, the player receives PhP 1,500 if he matches one pair of same digit and one different digit in any order while in Rambolito 6 play, the winner takes home PhP 750 in case he matches the three different digits in any order.

What are the ways to win in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you pick three (3) numbers, one for each column consisting of digits 0 to 9.
If your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default play unless you mark Rambolito option in your bet card.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize regardless if your chosen combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your chosen number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your chosen combination has one repeating digit.
If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
Are Swertres Lotto Prizes subject to tax?
Swertres winnings are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Act because the maximum Swertres winning is only PhP 4,500.
Only prizes exceeding PhP 10,000 are taxable.
I bet on the wrong number combination by mistake, can I get a refund?
You cannot cancel, void or refund a Swertres ticket after it is processed by the terminal. Players have the sole duty of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the Swertres ticket including the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.
Therefore, you need to thoroughly check all the numbers and options you selected before you give the play card to the cashier.

Winnings above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO head office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.

February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from purchasing tickets from persons claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting platform. The agency said it does not have any such system yet.
