Swertres Lotto (currently branded as 3D Lotto) is one of the oldest fixed-prize lotteries facilitated by PCSO. It has been extremely popular among the betting public since its introduction in 2002. How to Play Swertres Lotto
Playing Swertres Lotto is easy. Here’s the step-by-step instruction for playing this popular digit game:
- Pick your Swertres number combination by marking one (1) out of numbers 0 to 9 in each of the columns.
- Mark LP (Lucky Pick) in case you want the system to randomly pick the number combination for you.
- Choose Rambolito if you want to play the Rambolito System Play.
- Choose the play amount in the AMT column.
- For Advance Plays, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw section.
- Pay the total ticket price to the cashier and get your generated Swertres Lotto ticket.
- View the Swertres result after the scheduled draw to verify if you won a prize.
Each Swertres number combination costs PhP 12. The bet amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the the Swertres ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Do not soak in water, fold or iron or write anything on your Swertres ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets must be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.
Remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim prizes.
Matching all your numbers with the winning combination in exact order gives you 4,500.00 for every 12.00 play.

How to win a prize in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you select three (3) digits, one for each column composed of digits 0 to 9.
If your entry matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you select Rambolito option in your play slip.
In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize regardless if your marked combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your selected combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your marked combination has one repeating digit.
If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

What is Documentary Stamps Tax?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

In Swertres Lotto Standard Play, the chances of getting the three winning numbers in exact order is 1 in 1000 while the odds of winning in Swertres Rambolito 6 and Rambolito 3 Plays are 1 in 167 and 1 in 333, respectively.
Can I play Swertres Lotto in Advance?
You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just select your intended number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your Swertres entry shall then be played multiple times based on the number of draws you selected.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Swertres combination will be valid for the subsequent six (6) Swertres draws.

How do I play Rambolito?
Rambolito is a Swertres Lotto game variation that allows its bettors receive prizes even if they did not match the winning numbers in exact order.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 or Rambolito 3.
In Rambolito 6, you choose a number combination consisting of three different digits (e.g. 1-4-3), resulting to a total of six (6) number combinations. If the Swertres winning numbers match your number combination in any order, you win a prize worth PhP 750.
In Rambolito 3, you select a number combination composed of one repeating digit and another digit (e.g. 1-1-3), creating a total of three (3) number combinations. If any of your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win a prize of PhP 1,500.
To play Rambolito, select the Rambolito option in the Swertres bet slip.
How to claim the Swertres Lotto Prize?

February 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the public to not to patronize persons and entities pretending to be part of PCSO and luring them to purchase lotto tickets online using their platform. To date, PCSO has no online betting system yet whether through an app, text or calls.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
