How to Play Swertres Lotto
These are the detailed instructions when playing the Swertres Lotto:
- Select three (3) digits between 0 to 9, one from each column. These digits will be your Swertres combination.
- Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option lets the computer to automatically generate the numbers for you.
- Mark Rambolito in case you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the system automatically computes and generates all the possible combinations for the digits you picked.
- Choose your play amount in the AMT column.
- Mark the number of draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Hand over your play card and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
- View the Swertres result here after the scheduled draw to verify if your ticket matches the winning combination.
Each Swertres number combination costs PhP 12. The bet amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the Swertres ticket. Keep it in a secure and dry place.
Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your Swertres ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets must be machine-validated when claiming prizes.
Please remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the lotto prizes.
Lucky Pick is also available in the Rambolito System Play, but the option of repeating digits is not applicable.
Important PCSO Guidelines to be Followed when Playing Swertres Lotto
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following rules in all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Always wear your face mask. Players without face mask will not be permitted to play Swertres.
- Follow physical distancing at all times while in the outlet.
- Bring your own pen when purchasing lotto tickets.

In Straight or Standard Play, a player receives PhP 4,500 if he matches all three winning numbers in exact order.
In Rambolito 3 play, the player receives PhP 1,500 if he matches one pair of same digit and another digit in any order while in Rambolito 6 play, the winner receives PhP 750 in case he gets the three different digits in any order.

How to win a prize in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you select three (3) numbers, one for each column consisting of numbers 0 to 9.
If your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in your playing card.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize regardless if your marked number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much smaller than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your selected number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your marked number combination has one repeating digit.
If your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

How do I win in Rambolito?
Rambolito is a Swertres Lotto game variation that allows its bettors win prizes even if they did not match the winning numbers in exact order.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 or Rambolito 3.
In Rambolito 6, you select a number combination composed of three different digits (e.g. 2-6-9), resulting to a total of six (6) number combinations. If the Swertres results match your number combination in any order, you take home a prize worth PhP 750.
In Rambolito 3, you mark a number combination composed of one repeating digit and another digit (e.g. 3-3-5), resulting to a total of three (3) number combinations. If any of your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you receive a prize worth PhP 1,500.
To play Rambolito, select the Rambolito option in the Swertres bet card.
I changed my mind, can I ask for a refund?
You cannot cancel, void or refund a Swertres ticket after it is printed by the system. Players have the sole responsibility of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the Swertres ticket such as the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.
Therefore, you need to verify all the numbers and options you selected before you give the play slip to the cashier.
What does LP in Swertres mean?
The Lucky Pick or LP option instructs the computer to automatically choose the Swertres number for you if you do not have any number in mind.
To use this option, just select the LP in the playslip.
What are my chances of winning a prize in Swertres Lotto?
In Swertres Lotto Standard Play, the odds of matching the three winning numbers in exact order is 1 in 1000 while the chances of winning in Swertres Rambolito 6 and Rambolito 3 Plays are 1 in 167 and 1 in 333, respectively.
Do I win anything even if I DO NOT get the Swertres winning numbers in the same order?
You win either PhP 1,500 or PhP 750 but only if you chose the Rambolito option.
You do not win anything in Straight or Standard Play in case your Swertres number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.

February 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the public against purchasing lotto tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. The agency states it has no such system yet in place that will support such transactions.
