Swertres Lotto is a game of two numbers from Zero (0) to Nine (9). It was renamed in 2019 as “3D Lotto” and has become one of the extremely popular fixed payout games accross the cuntry since its inception in 2002. There are three plays in Swertres Lotto. How to Play Swertres Lotto
Follow these detailed instructions to learn how to play the PCSO Swertres game:
- Pick three (3) numbers between 0 to 9, one from each column. These numbers will be your Swertres combination.
- Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option lets the system to automatically pick the numbers for you.
- Mark Rambolito in case you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the terminal automatically permutates and generates all the possible combinations for the numbers you selected.
- Pick your play amount in the AMT section.
- Mark the number of draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Hand over your bet card and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
- View the Swertres result here right after the scheduled draw to see if your ticket matches the winning number combination.
One Swertres number combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of the Swertres ticket and store it in safe and dry place.
Do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize.
Note that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim prizes.
You can also to play the Rambolito. Select a 3-digit number combination and the system will automatically permutate and generate all its possible combinations. In case the selected 3-digit combination has no repeating digits, e.g.123, the number of combinations generated will be six (6). If the selected 3-digit combination has two (2) repeating digits, e.g. 122, the number of combinations generated will be three (3).
New PCSO Rules to be Followed when Playing Swertres Lotto
PCSO has implemented the guidelines below to be observed by Swertres Lotto bettors nationwide.
- Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors with no face mask will not be permitted to place Swertres bets.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
- Use your own ball pen.
- Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Hand sanitizers or alcohols are available in the betting area.
- Use the money tray to lessen contact.
- Avoid littering and throw away used bet slips or old lotto tickets in the trash bins.

In Standard or Straight Play, a player wins PhP 4,500 if he matches all three winning numbers in exact order.
In Rambolito 3 play, the bettor wins PhP 1,500 in case he matches one pair of same digit and one different digit in any order while in Rambolito 6 play, the winner receives PhP 750 in case he matches the three different digits in any order.

How to win a prize in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you select three (3) numbers, one for each column consisting of numbers 0 to 9.
If your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you mark Rambolito option in your play card.
In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize regardless if your selected number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much smaller than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your chosen number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your chosen number combination has one repeating digit.
If your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
Are Swertres Lotto Prizes subject to tax?
Swertres prizes are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Act because the highest Swertres winning is only PhP 4,500.
Only prizes above PhP 10,000 are subject to 20% tax.
What is the new name of Swertres Lotto?
Suertres (Swertres) Lotto has been rebranded as 3D Lotto by PCSO. However, a lot of players still call it ‘Swertres’. Hence, this site still uses ‘Swertres’ in some of its articles when referring to 3D Lotto.
What is Lucky Pick in Swertres?
The Lucky Pick or LP option instructs the computer to automatically select the Swertres number combination for you if you cannot think of any number to bet on.
To use this option, just select the LP in the playslip.
What happens if wrong numbers are printed in the Swertres ticket?
Swertres tickets, once generated, can no longer be modified. Hence, bettors are advised to examine their tickets before leaving the lotto outlet. Bettors are responsible for checking the information printed on their tickets.
