How to Play Swertres Lotto
These are the complete steps when playing the Swertres Lotto:
- Select a combination of three (3) numbers from one (1) to nine (9) in each column on a Swertres bet card.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, choose Lucky Pick (LP) to let the computer generate the Swertres number combination for you.
- Mark Rambolito if you want the terminal to automatically compute all the possible combinations of the numbers you have picked.
- Select the amount that you wish to play for each combination.
- For Advance Plays, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw Draw section.
- Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
- See the Swertres result after the scheduled draw to know if you got the winning number combination.
Swertres ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your Swertres ticket. Keep it in a safe and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize.
Note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim prizes.
You can also to play the Rambolito. Select a 3-digit number combination and the system will automatically permutate and generate all its possible combinations. In case the selected 3-digit combination has no repeating digits, e.g.123, the number of combinations generated will be six (6). In case the selected 3-digit combination has two (2) repeating digits, e.g. 122, the number of combinations generated will be three (3).
New PCSO Protocols to be Followed when Playing Swertres Lotto
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following protocol in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Always wear your face mask. Bettors without face mask will not be permitted to play Swertres.
- Follow social distancing at all times while in the lotto outlet.
- Bring your own pen when placing bets.
- Use the tray provided when handing out your bet card and payment.
- Use the alcohols, disinfectant or hand sanitizer provided before leaving the lotto outlet.
- Throw away your used play card and old lotto tickets into the trash bin.

Swertres is one of PCSO’s popular digit game. PCSO uses the following prize system for Swertres Lotto:
In Straight or Standard Play, a bettor wins PhP 4,500 if he gets all three winning numbers in exact order.
In Rambolito 3 play, the bettor takes home PhP 1,500 if he matches one pair of same digit and another digit in any order while in Rambolito 6 play, the winner receives PhP 750 in case he gets the three different digits in any order.

What are the ways to win in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you select three (3) digits, one for each column consisting of numbers 0 to 9.
If your entry matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you mark Rambolito option in the play slip.
In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize even if your marked combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much lower than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your marked number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 in case your selected number combination has one repeating digit.
If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

How much do I win if I match all the Swertres winning numbers but NOT in exact order?
You win either PhP 1,500 or PhP 750 but only if you picked the Rambolito option.
You do not win anything in Standard or Straight Play if your Swertres number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.
What happens if the draw date indicated in the Swertres ticket is wrong?
Swertres tickets, once printed, can no longer be modified. Hence, players are advised to check their tickets before leaving the outlet. Bettors are responsible for verifying the information printed on their Swertres tickets.
How do I void an entry in the Swertres play slip?
To cancel or disregard a specific Swertres number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the bet slip to the cashier.
Please note that you can only void a Swertres number combination before purchasing the ticket. A Swertres number combination that has been processed by the computer can no longer be canceled or voided.
How do I play Rambolito?
Rambolito is a Swertres Lotto game variant that allows its players win prizes even if they did not match the winning numbers in exact order.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 or Rambolito 3.
In Rambolito 6, you select a number combination consisting of three different digits (e.g. 1-4-3), generating a total of six (6) number combinations. If the Swertres results match your number combination in any order, you take home a prize worth PhP 750.
In Rambolito 3, you choose a number combination composed of one repeating digit and another digit (e.g. 0-9-0), generating a total of three (3) number combinations. If any of your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you receive a prize worth PhP 1,500.
To play Rambolito, mark the Rambolito option in the Swertres play card.
Are Swertres Lotto Prizes subject to tax?
Swertres Lotto winnings are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Act since the highest Swertres prize is only PhP 4,500.
Only prizes exceeding PhP 10,000 are taxable.
