Swertres Lotto (currently called as 3D Lotto) is one of the oldest fixed payout games of the PCSO. It has been immensely popular among the public since its introduction in 2002. Swertres Lotto prizes are PhP 4,500 for Straight Play, PhP 1,500 for Rambolito 3 Play and PhP 750 for Rambolito 6 Play. The odds of hitting these prizes are 1 in 1000, 1 in 333, and 1 in 167, respectively.

How to Play Swertres Lotto
To play PCSO Swertres Lotto, follow these detailed instructions:
- Pick three (3) digits that will comprise your Swertres combination. You can mark numbers 0 to 9, one number for each column.
- If you can’t think of any number, mark the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the terminal randomly choose the number combination for you.
- Choose Rambolito System Play if you want the terminal to automatically compute the possible combinations of the numbers you have selected.
- Mark your bet amount in the AMT column.
- Mark the number of draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
- Give your play card and corresponding payment to the teller and get your ticket once it is printed.
- After the draw, access the Swertres result to verify if you won the prize.
One Swertres number combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your Swertres ticket. Store it in a secure and dry place.
Do not soak in water, fold or iron or write anything on your Swertres ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets have to be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.
Please note that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play and claim prizes.
You can also to play the Rambolito. Select a 3-digit number combination and the system will automatically permutate and generate all its possible combinations. If the selected 3-digit combination has no repeating digits, e.g.123, the number of combinations generated will be six (6). In case the selected 3-digit combination has two (2) repeating digits, e.g. 122, the number of combinations generated will be three (3).

How to win a prize in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you choose three (3) numbers, one for each column consisting of digits 0 to 9.
If your entry matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in your bet slip.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize even if your selected combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much smaller than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 if your chosen combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your chosen combination has one repeating digit.
If your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
Can I play Swertres Lotto in Advance?
You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just mark your intended number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your Swertres combination will then be played multiple times based on the number of draws you selected.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Swertres combination shall be valid for the succeeding six (6) Swertres draws.
Are Swertres Lotto winnings tax-exempt?
Swertres prizes are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Act since the maximum Swertres prize is only PhP 4,500.
Only winnings exceeding PhP 10,000 are subject to 20% tax.
What is the price of a Swertres Lotto ticket?
A bettor can purchase the Swertres Lotto ticket for 12 Pesos per number combination at the nearest authorized PCSO lotto outlet. This amount is inclusive of the Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Do I win anything if I get all the Swertres winning numbers but NOT in exact order?
You win either PhP 1,500 or PhP 750 but only if you picked the Rambolito option.
You do not win anything in Straight or Standard Play in case your Swertres number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.

February 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the public to not to patronize persons and entities pretending to be employees of PCSO and enticing them to purchase lotto tickets online using their platform. To date, the agency has no online betting system yet whether through an app, text or calls.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 4-Digit and 6-Digit Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– All major lotto ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 as required by the TRAIN Act.
