Since its introduction in June 2002, Swertres Lotto (3D Lotto) has become one of the most broadly played digit lotteries in the country. PCSO has set the prizes of Swertres Lotto to PhP 4,500 for Standard Play, PhP 1,500 for Rambolito 3 Play and PhP 750 for Rambolito 6 Play. Your odds of getting these prizes are 1 in 1000, 1 in 333, and 1 in 167, respectively.

How to Play Swertres Lotto
Swertres is a popular fixed-prize game of three (3) numbers from Zero (0) to Nine (9). Here’s how you can play the Swertres Lotto:
- Pick three (3) numbers that will comprise your Swertres combination. You can pick from numbers 0 to 9, one number for each column.
- If you can’t think of any number, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the terminal automatically generate the number combination for you.
- Mark Rambolito System Play in case you want the terminal to automatically compute the possible combinations of the numbers you have picked.
- Mark your play amount in the AMT column.
- Mark the number of draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
- Hand over your bet card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket after it is generated.
- After the draw, see the Swertres result to know if you won the prize.
Swertres ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the the Swertres ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, soak in water or write anything on your Swertres ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets need to be machine-validated when claiming prizes.
Remember that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim prizes.
Playing 3D Lotto is easy. You can win a First Prize of 4,500.00 for every 12.00 that you play or increase your chances of winning with a Rambolito play.
New PCSO Guidelines to be Followed when Playing Swertres Lotto
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following rules in all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors without face mask will not be permitted to place Swertres bets.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
- Bring your own ball pen.
- Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Alcohol or hand sanitizers are available in the betting area.
- Use the money tray to decrease contact.
- Avoid littering and throw away any used play slips or non-winning lotto tickets in the trash cans.
Swertres Prizes for Standard/Straight and Rambolito Plays
PCSO Swertres Lotto comes with three different prizes for its Straight/Standard, Rambolito 3 and Rambolito 6 plays.
In Straight or Standard play, a bettor who gets all three drawn winning numbers in exact order wins PhP 4,500.
In Rambolito 3, the player wins PhP 1,500 in case he gets one pair of same digit and one different digit in any order while in Rambolito 6 the bettor takes home PhP 750 if he matches the three different digits in any order.

How can I win prizes in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you mark three (3) digits, one for each column composed of digits 0 to 9.
If your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you choose Rambolito option in the play card.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize regardless if your selected combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much lower than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 if your chosen combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 in case your chosen combination has one repeating digit.
If your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

Can I play the same Swertres combination in advance?
You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just pick your intended number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your Swertres combination will then be played repeatedly based on the number of draws you picked.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Swertres entry will be valid for the subsequent six (6) Swertres draws.
Do I win anything even if I DO NOT get the Swertres winning numbers in the same order?
You win either PhP 1,500 or PhP 750 but only if you selected the Rambolito option.
You do not win anything in Straight or Standard Play if your Swertres number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.
How much do I win in Swertres Lotto?
In Standard/Straight play, you win PhP 4,500 if you got the winning combination in exact order.
In Rambolito play, you win either PhP 750 (Rambolito 6) or PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3).
Does PCSO have Swertres draws during holidays?
PCSO generally cancels its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO modifies its draw schedule in such a way that all draws are finished early in the day.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements
February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from purchasing lotto tickets from entities claiming to be part of a alleged PCSO ‘online’ betting platform. The agency states it does not have any such system yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 6D and 4D Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– All major games ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 as mandated by the TRAIN Act.
