How to Play Swertres Lotto
Swertres is a popular fixed-prize game of three (3) numbers from Zero (0) to Nine (9). Here’s how you can play the Swertres Lotto:
- Choose three (3) digits that will comprise your Swertres combination. You can choose from numbers 0 to 9, one number for each column.
- If you can’t think of any number combination, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the computer randomly select the numbers for you.
- Mark Rambolito System Play if you want the system to automatically compute the possible combinations of the digits you have marked.
- Mark your bet amount in the AMT section.
- Choose the number of draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
- Hand over your bet card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket after it is generated.
- After the draw, see the Swertres result to see if you won the prize.
One Swertres number combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of the Swertres ticket and store it in secure and dry place.
Your ticket has to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket.
Please note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim prizes.
You can also to play the Rambolito. Select a 3-digit number combination and the system will automatically permutate and generate all its possible combinations. If the selected 3-digit combination has no repeating digits, e.g.123, the number of combinations generated will be six (6). In case the selected 3-digit combination has two (2) repeating digits, e.g. 122, the number of combinations generated will be three (3).
New PCSO Rules to be Observed when Playing Swertres Lotto
In light of the on-going pandemic, Swertres Lotto players must abide by the following rules and regulations imposed at all PCSO lotto outlets when purchasing tickets to ensure that the minimum health and safety protocols are met.
- Put on your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting system shall be implemented at all PCSO outlets in the country.
- Follow physical distancing when placing Swertres bets.
- Use your own pen to reduce the risk of getting infected with the virus.
- Place the bet slips and cash in the tray provided by the outlet to decrease physical contact.
- Apply disinfectants or alcohols before you leave the outlet.
- Use the trash bins provided to discard used bet slips and/or old tickets.

Swertres FAQs – Everything you Need to Know about Swertres Lotto
How can I win prizes in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you select three (3) digits, one for each column consisting of numbers 0 to 9.
If your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you select Rambolito option in the bet card.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize even if your chosen combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your chosen number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 in case your selected combination has one repeating digit.
If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

Are Swertres Lotto Prizes subject to tax?
Swertres Lotto prizes are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Law since the maximum Swertres winning is only PhP 4,500.
Only winnings above PhP 10,000 are subject to 20% tax.
Will there be any Swertres draw during Holy Week?
PCSO regularly suspends its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO modifies its draw schedule in such a manner that all draws are finished early in the afternoon.

How much do I win if I match all the Swertres winning numbers but NOT in exact order?
You win either PhP 1,500 or PhP 750 but only if you picked the Rambolito option.
You do not win anything in Standard or Straight Play in case your Swertres number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.
How do I play Rambolito?
Rambolito is a Swertres Lotto game variation that lets its players receive prizes even if they did not get the winning numbers in exact order.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 or Rambolito 3.
In Rambolito 6, you pick a number combination consisting of three different digits (e.g. 0-1-5), generating a total of six (6) number combinations. If the Swertres winning numbers match your number combination in any order, you take home a prize worth PhP 750.
In Rambolito 3, you choose a number combination composed of one repeating digit and another digit (e.g. 0-9-0), creating a total of three (3) number combinations. If any of your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you take home a prize worth PhP 1,500.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements
February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from buying tickets from entities claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting platform. The agency confirms it does not have any such platform yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
