Swertres Lotto is a game of two numbers from Zero (0) to Nine (9). It was rebranded in 2019 as “3D Lotto” and has become one of the extremely popular fixed payout games accross the Philippines since its introduction in 2002. There are three plays in Swertres Lotto. These are the Straight Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,500, the Rambolito 3 Play with a prize of PhP 1,500, and the Rambolito 6 Play with PhP 750. The odds of getting these prizes are respectively at 1 in 1000, 1 in 333, and 1 in 167.
PCSO conducts live 3D Swertres Lotto draws every 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM every day except when a prior official announcement is made. Postponement of draws regularly takes place during major public holidays.

How to Play Swertres Lotto
Follow these detailed instructions to learn how to play the Swertres game:
- Choose three (3) digits that will comprise your Swertres combination. You can pick from numbers 0 to 9, one number for each column.
- If you can’t think of any number, mark the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the terminal randomly generate the numbers for you.
- Mark Rambolito System Play in case you want the terminal to automatically permutate the possible combinations of the digits you have selected.
- Select your bet amount in the AMT column.
- Mark the number of draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
- Hand over your play slip and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket after it is generated.
- After the draw, check the Swertres result to know if you won the prize.
Swertres ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the your Swertres ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize.
Note that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play and claim prizes.
You can also to play the Rambolito. Select a 3-digit number combination and the system will automatically permutate and generate all its possible combinations. In case the selected 3-digit combination has no repeating digits, e.g.123, the number of combinations generated will be six (6). In case the selected 3-digit combination has two (2) repeating digits, e.g. 122, the number of combinations generated will be three (3).
New Health and Safety Guidelines to be Observed when Playing Swertres Lotto
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following protocol in all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Always wear your face mask. Bettors with no face mask will not be permitted to place Swertres bets.
- Observe physical distancing at all times while in the outlet.
- Use your own ball pen when purchasing lotto tickets.
- Use the tray provided when handing out your bet slip and payment.
- Use the disinfectant, hand sanitizer or alcohols provided before you leave the lotto outlet.
- Put away your used playing card and non-winning tickets into the garbage bin.

In Straight or Standard Play, a player takes home PhP 4,500 in case he gets all three winning numbers in exact order.
In Rambolito 3 play, the bettor takes home PhP 1,500 in case he gets one pair of same digit and another digit in any order while in Rambolito 6 play, the winner receives PhP 750 if he matches the three different digits in any order.

What are the ways to win in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you pick three (3) digits, one for each column consisting of digits 0 to 9.
If your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in the play card.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize regardless if your selected number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your selected number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 in case your marked number combination has one repeating digit.
If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?
PCSO most of the time suspends its lotto draws during regular holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO modifies its draw schedule so that all draws are completed early in the day.
Can I get a refund for the Swertres ticket that I bought?
You cannot cancel, void or refund a Swertres ticket after it is accepted by the terminal. Bettors have the sole duty of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the Swertres ticket such as the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.
Hence, you need to double-check all the numbers and options you selected before you submit the bet slip to the teller.
