Swertres Lotto is a game of two numbers from Zero (0) to Nine (9). It was rebranded in 2019 as “3D Lotto” and has become one of the extremely popular digit lotteries accross the Philippines since its introduction in 2002. There are three plays in Swertres Lotto. These are the Straight Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,500, the Rambolito 3 Play with a prize of PhP 1,500, and the Rambolito 6 Play with PhP 750. The chances of winning these prizes are respectively at 1 in 1000, 1 in 333, and 1 in 167.
Official 3D Swertres Lotto draws happen daily at 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM except when the draws are postponed by PCSO. During these instances, PCSO makes a prior public announcement.

How to Play Swertres Lotto
To play Swertres Lotto, follow these detailed steps:
- Select three (3) digits that will comprise your Swertres combination. You can choose from numbers 0 to 9, one number for each column.
- If you can’t think of any number, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the computer automatically select the numbers for you.
- Choose Rambolito System Play in case you want the terminal to automatically compute the possible combinations of the digits you have selected.
- Choose your bet amount in the AMT column.
- Mark the number of draws you want to play in the Draw section.
- Give your play slip and corresponding payment to the teller and get your ticket once it is printed.
- After the draw, access the Swertres result to know if you won the prize.
Each Swertres combination costs PhP 12. The bet amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the your Swertres ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Your ticket must be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.
Please note that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play and claim prizes.
You can also to play the Rambolito. Select a 3-digit number combination and the system will automatically permutate and generate all its possible combinations. If the selected 3-digit combination has no repeating digits, e.g.123, the number of combinations generated will be six (6). If the selected 3-digit combination has two (2) repeating digits, e.g. 122, the number of combinations generated will be three (3).
Important PCSO Rules to be Followed when Playing Swertres Lotto
In light of the on-going pandemic, Swertres Lotto enthusiasts must observe the following rules and regulations imposed at all PCSO outlets when purchasing tickets to ensure that the minimum health and safety guidelines are met.
- Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors without face mask will not be allowed to buy Swertres tickets.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
- Bring your own pen.
- Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Hand sanitizers or alcohols are available in the betting area.
- Use the money tray to minimize contact.
- Avoid littering and throw away any used play slips or non-winning lotto tickets in the garbage bins.

How to win a prize in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you choose three (3) digits, one for each column composed of numbers 0 to 9.
If your entry matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you select Rambolito option in the play card.
In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize regardless if your chosen number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 if your selected number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your marked number combination has one repeating digit.
If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

What is Rambolito?
Rambolito is a Swertres Lotto game variant that allows its bettors receive prizes even if they did not get the winning numbers in exact order.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 or Rambolito 3.
In Rambolito 6, you select a number combination with three different digits (e.g. 2-3-4), creating a total of six (6) number combinations. If the Swertres results match your number combination in any order, you take home a prize of PhP 750.
In Rambolito 3, you mark a number combination consisting of one repeating digit and another digit (e.g. 8-6-6), generating a total of three (3) number combinations. If any of your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in any order, you take home a prize worth PhP 1,500.
To play Rambolito, select the Rambolito option in the Swertres play card.
What happens if wrong numbers are printed in the Swertres ticket?
Swertres tickets, once printed, can no longer be modified. Hence, players are advised to check their tickets before leaving the outlet. Bettors are responsible for verifying the information printed on their Swertres tickets.
Who are permitted to play Swertres Lotto?
PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play the Swertres Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place because of the on-going COVID-19 epidemic.
Do I win anything even if I DO NOT get the Swertres winning numbers in the same order?
You win either PhP 1,500 or PhP 750 but only if you picked the Rambolito option.

February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from purchasing lotto tickets from entities claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. The agency confirms it does not have any such platform yet.
