Swertres Lotto (now known as 3D Lotto) is one of the first digit games facilitated by PCSO. It has been immensely popular among the public since its inception in 2002. Swertres Lotto prizes are PhP 4,500 for Straight Play, PhP 1,500 for Rambolito 3 Play and PhP 750 for Rambolito 6 Play. The odds of hitting these prizes are 1 in 1000, 1 in 333, and 1 in 167, respectively.
Official 3D Swertres Lotto draws take place daily at 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM except when the draws are postponed by PCSO. In such cases, PCSO makes a prior announcement.

How to Play Swertres Lotto
These are the detailed steps when playing the Swertres Lotto:
- Mark a combination of three (3) numbers from one (1) to nine (9) in each column on a Swertres bet card.
- If you can’t think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to let the system generate the Swertres number combination for you.
- Choose Rambolito if you want the system to automatically generate all the possible combinations of the digits you have picked.
- Choose the amount that you wish to play for each combination.
- For Advance Plays, select the number of consecutive draws in the Draw Draw panel.
- Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
- View the Swertres result after the live draw to see if you matched the winning number combination.
Each Swertres number combination costs PhP 12. The bet amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your Swertres ticket. Store it in a safe and dry place.
Do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.
Note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the prizes.
Results of the 3D Lotto draws are broadcasted over PTV4 at 11:00AM, 4:00PM and 9:00PM.
Important Health and Safety Reminders when Playing Swertres Lotto
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following rules in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Always wear your face mask. Players with no face mask will not be permitted to place Swertres bets.
- Observe social distancing at all times while in the outlet.
- Use your own ball pen when placing bets.
- Use the tray provided when handing out your play card and payment.
- Use the hand sanitizer, alcohols or disinfectant provided before leaving the outlet.
- Throw away your used play card and non-winning lotto tickets into the garbage bin.
Swertres Prizes for Standard/Straight and Rambolito Plays
Swertres is one of PCSO’s popular fixed-prize game. PCSO uses the following payout system for Swertres Lotto:
In Standard or Straight Play, a player takes home PhP 4,500 in case he matches all three winning numbers in exact order.
In Rambolito 3 play, the bettor takes home PhP 1,500 if he matches one pair of same digit and another digit in any order while in Rambolito 6 play, the winner receives PhP 750 if he gets the three different digits in any order.

Swertres FAQs – Everything you Need to Know about Swertres Lotto
How can I win prizes in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you mark three (3) digits, one for each column consisting of numbers 0 to 9.
If your entry matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you choose Rambolito option in the play slip.
In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize even if your marked number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much lower than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your marked number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 in case your selected number combination has one repeating digit.
If your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

What is Documentary Stamps Tax?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Act).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
I am below 18 years old, am I allowed to play Swertres Lotto?
PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play the Swertres Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place because of the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Are Swertres Lotto winnings taxable?
Swertres Lotto prizes are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Law because the maximum Swertres prize is only PhP 4,500.
Only winnings exceeding PhP 10,000 are subject to 20% tax.
Do I win anything if I get all the Swertres winning numbers but NOT in exact order?
You win either PhP 1,500 or PhP 750 but only if you marked the Rambolito option.
You do not win anything in Straight or Standard Play in case your Swertres number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements
February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from buying tickets from entities claiming to be part of a alleged PCSO ‘online’ betting system. PCSO states it does not have any such platform yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 4-Digit and 6-Digit Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major games. Ticket prices were previously raised to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Law.
