Swertres Lotto is a game of two numbers from Zero (0) to Nine (9). It was rebranded in 2019 as “3D Lotto” and has become one of the hugely popular digit games accross the Philippines since its inception in 2002. There are three plays in Swertres Lotto. These are the Straight Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,500, the Rambolito 3 Play which has a prize of PhP 1,500, and the Rambolito 6 Play with PhP 750. The odds of winning these prizes are respectively at 1 in 1000, 1 in 333, and 1 in 167.

How to Play Swertres Lotto
Follow these detailed instructions to learn how to play the PCSO Swertres game:
- Mark three (3) numbers that will comprise your Swertres combination. You can select from numbers 0 to 9, one number for each column.
- If you can’t think of any number, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the system automatically pick the numbers for you.
- Choose Rambolito System Play if you want the computer to automatically generate the possible combinations of the digits you have picked.
- Pick your bet amount in the AMT column.
- Mark the number of draws you want to play in the Draw section.
- Give your playing card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket once it is generated.
- After the draw, access the Swertres result to know if you won the prize.
Swertres ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the the Swertres ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Your ticket must be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.
Note that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim lotto prizes.
Matching all your numbers with the winning combination in exact order gives you 4,500.00 for every 12.00 play.

What are the ways to win in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you pick three (3) digits, one for each column composed of numbers 0 to 9.
If your entry matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in the playing card.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize even if your selected number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much smaller than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 if your marked combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your marked combination has one repeating digit.
If your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

How much do I win if I match all the Swertres winning numbers but NOT in exact order?
You win either PhP 1,500 or PhP 750 but only if you selected the Rambolito option.
You do not win anything in Standard or Straight Play in case your Swertres number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.
How many Swertres draws can I play in advance?
You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just select your intended number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your Swertres entry shall then be played multiple times according to the number of draws you marked.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Swertres entry will be valid for the subsequent six (6) Swertres draws.
What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
What is Lucky Pick in Swertres?
The Lucky Pick or LP option lets the computer to automatically pick the Swertres number for you if you cannot think of any number to bet on.
To use this option, just select the LP in the playslip.
Who are permitted to play Swertres Lotto?
Only persons 18 years old and above are allowed to play the Swertres Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

February 10, 2021– PCSO warns the public against buying tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. PCSO states it has no such system yet in place that will cater to such transactions.
