How to Play Swertres Lotto
Playing Swertres Lotto is easy. Here’s the detailed instruction for playing this popular numbers game:
- Select three (3) digits between 0 to 9, one from each column. These numbers will be your Swertres combination.
- Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option lets the terminal to randomly select the number combination for you.
- Choose Rambolito if you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the terminal automatically permutates and generates all the possible combinations for the digits you picked.
- Choose the bet amount in the AMT section.
- Choose the number of draws you want to play in the Draw section.
- Give your bet slip and payment to the teller and get your generated ticket once printed.
- See the Swertres result here right after the live draw to know if your ticket matches the winning number combination.
Swertres ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of the Swertres ticket and store it in safe and dry place.
Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your Swertres ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets must be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.
Note that you must be at least 18 years old to play and claim prizes.

What are the ways to win in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you mark three (3) numbers, one for each column consisting of numbers 0 to 9.
If your entry matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you mark Rambolito option in your bet slip.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize regardless if your marked number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much lower than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your chosen combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your selected number combination has one repeating digit.
If your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
How do I win in Rambolito?
Rambolito is a Swertres Lotto game variant that allows its bettors win prizes even if they did not get the winning numbers in exact order.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 or Rambolito 3.
In Rambolito 6, you pick a number combination with three different digits (e.g. 2-3-4), resulting to a total of six (6) number combinations. If the Swertres winning numbers match your number combination in any order, you win a prize of PhP 750.
In Rambolito 3, you mark a number combination composed of one repeating digit and another digit (e.g. 8-6-6), resulting to a total of three (3) number combinations. If any of your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you receive a prize worth PhP 1,500.
To play Rambolito, select the Rambolito option in the Swertres bet card.
What are the odds of winning a prize in Swertres Lotto?
In Swertres Lotto Straight Play, the odds of getting the three winning numbers in exact order is 1 in 1000 while the chances of winning in Swertres Rambolito 6 and Rambolito 3 Plays are 1 in 167 and 1 in 333, respectively.
Who are allowed to play Swertres Lotto?
Only persons 18 years old and above are allowed to play the Swertres Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place due to the on-going COVID-19 epidemic.

February 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the public to not to patronize persons and entities pretending to be part of PCSO and luring them to purchase lotto tickets online using their platform. To date, the agency has no online betting system yet whether through an app, text or calls.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 4-Digit and 6-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
