How to Play Swertres Lotto
These are the complete instructions when playing the Swertres Lotto:
- Select a set of three (3) numbers from one (1) to nine (9) in each column on a Swertres bet card.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, choose Lucky Pick (LP) to let the computer select the Swertres number combination for you.
- Choose Rambolito in case you want the computer to automatically permutate all the possible combinations of the numbers you have marked.
- Select the amount that you wish to play for each combination.
- For Advance Plays, select the number of consecutive draws in the Draw Draw section.
- Pay the ticket price and get your generated ticket once done.
- Check the Swertres result after the scheduled draw to know if you matched the winning combination.
Each Swertres combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the the Swertres ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.
Please remember that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play and claim prizes.
Matching all your numbers with the winning combination in exact order gives you 4,500.00 for every 12.00 play.

How do I win a prize in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you pick three (3) numbers, one for each column composed of digits 0 to 9.
If your entry matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in your bet card.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize regardless if your chosen combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 if your selected number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 in case your marked number combination has one repeating digit.
If your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

Who are permitted to play Swertres Lotto?
PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play the Swertres Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place owing to the on-going COVID-19 epidemic.
What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
What are the odds of winning a prize in Swertres Lotto?
In Swertres Lotto Standard Play, the odds of matching the three winning numbers in exact order is 1 in 1000 while the chances of winning in Swertres Rambolito 6 and Rambolito 3 Plays are 1 in 167 and 1 in 333, respectively.
Are Swertres Lotto winnings taxable?
Swertres winnings are not subject to the 20% tax imposed by the TRAIN Law because the highest Swertres prize is only PhP 4,500.
Only winnings exceeding PhP 10,000 are taxable.
What happens if the draw date indicated in the Swertres ticket is wrong?
Swertres tickets, once printed, can no longer be modified. Hence, bettors are advised to verify their tickets before leaving the outlet. Bettors are responsible for checking the information printed on their tickets.

February 10, 2021– PCSO discourages everyone from purchasing tickets from persons claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. PCSO states it does not have any such platform yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 4D and 6D Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO announces the return of the PhP 20 ticket price of its major lotto games. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 after the TRAIN Law took effect.
