How to Play Swertres Lotto
Playing Swertres Lotto is easy. Here’s the step-by-step instruction for playing this popular numbers game:
- Mark a combination of three (3) numbers from one (1) to nine (9) in each column on a Swertres play card.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to allow the terminal select the Swertres number combination for you.
- Mark Rambolito if you want the terminal to automatically compute all the possible combinations of the numbers you have picked.
- Select the amount that you wish to play for each combination.
- For Advance Plays, select the number of consecutive draws in the Draw Draw panel.
- Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
- See the Swertres result after the scheduled draw to know if you got the winning number combination.
Each Swertres number combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of the Swertres ticket and store it in safe and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, soak in water or write anything on your Swertres ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets need to be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.
Note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the lotto prizes.
Matching all your numbers with the winning combination in exact order gives you 4,500.00 for every 12.00 play.

- Wear your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting scheme shall be carried out in all outlets in the country.
- Observe physical distancing when placing Swertres bets.
- Use your own pen to minimize the risk of catching the virus.
- Place the bet slips and cash in the tray provided by the lotto outlet to decrease physical contact.
- Apply disinfectants or sanitizers before you leave the lotto outlet.
- Use the trash cans provided to put away used bet slips and/or non-winning tickets.

PCSO Swertres Lotto comes with three different prizes for its Standard/Straight, Rambolito 3 and Rambolito 6 plays.
In Straight or Standard play, a bettor who matches all three drawn winning numbers in exact order receives PhP 4,500.
In Rambolito 3, the player wins PhP 1,500 if he matches one pair of same digit and one different digit in any order while in Rambolito 6 the bettor wins PhP 750 if he matches the three different digits in any order.

How do I win a prize in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you mark three (3) numbers, one for each column consisting of digits 0 to 9.
If your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in your bet card.
In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize even if your chosen combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 if your selected number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 in case your selected combination has one repeating digit.
If your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?
PCSO usually cancels its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO adjusts its draw schedule in such a way that all draws are completed early in the day.

What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

PCSO Official Announcements & Press Statements
February 10, 2021– PCSO warns the public against purchasing lotto tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. PCSO states it has no such system yet in place that will cater to such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major lotto games. Ticket prices were previously increased to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Act.
