Swertres Lotto (currently branded as 3D Lotto) is one of the first fixed-prize lotteries operated by PCSO. It has been hugely popular among the public since its inception in 2002. How to Play Swertres Lotto
To play PCSO Swertres Lotto, follow these detailed steps:
- Pick three (3) digits between 0 to 9, one from each column. These digits will be your Swertres combination.
- Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option lets the computer to automatically select the numbers for you.
- Mark Rambolito if you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the computer automatically permutates and generates all the possible combinations for the numbers you marked.
- Mark the bet amount in the AMT section.
- Choose the number of draws you want to play in the Draw section.
- Hand over your bet card and payment to the teller and get your generated ticket once printed.
- Check the Swertres result here after the scheduled draw to know if your ticket matches the winning combination.
Swertres ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your Swertres ticket and store it in safe and dry place.
Do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize.
Please note that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim prizes.

How do I win a prize in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you select three (3) digits, one for each column consisting of digits 0 to 9.
If your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you choose Rambolito option in your play card.
In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize even if your marked number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your selected number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 in case your chosen combination has one repeating digit.
If your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

Are Swertres Lotto winnings taxable?
Swertres Lotto winnings are not subject to the 20% tax imposed by the TRAIN Law since the highest Swertres prize is only PhP 4,500.
Only winnings above PhP 10,000 are taxable.
What are the odds of winning a prize in Swertres Lotto?
In Swertres Lotto Straight Play, the chances of getting the three winning numbers in exact order is 1 in 1000 while the odds of winning in Swertres Rambolito 6 and Rambolito 3 Plays are 1 in 167 and 1 in 333, respectively.

What is Rambolito?
Rambolito is a Swertres Lotto game variant that allows its bettors win prizes even if they did not match the winning numbers in exact order.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 or Rambolito 3.
In Rambolito 6, you select a number combination with three different digits (e.g. 0-1-5), resulting to a total of six (6) number combinations. If the Swertres winning numbers match your number combination in any order, you win a prize worth PhP 750.
In Rambolito 3, you mark a number combination composed of one repeating digit and another digit (e.g. 3-3-5), creating a total of three (3) number combinations. If any of your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you receive a prize of PhP 1,500.
To play Rambolito, mark the Rambolito option in the Swertres playing card.
Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?
PCSO generally suspends its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO shortens its draw schedule in such a manner that all draws are completed early in the day.

PCSO Official Announcements & Press Releases
February 10, 2021– PCSO discourages everyone from purchasing tickets from entities claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. The agency said it does not have any such system yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 4D and 6D Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO announces the return of the PhP 20 ticket price of its major lotto games. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 after the TRAIN Law took effect.
