Aside from 2D Lotto (EZ2), PCSO also facilitates today the draws for 3D Lotto (Swertres), STL, 6D Lotto, Lotto 6/42, Super Lotto 6/49, and Ultra Lotto 6/58.

2D Lotto is a game of two numbers from One (1) to Thirty-One (31). It was introduced in July 2004 as “EZ2 Lotto” and has since become one of the hugely popular digit games accross the cuntry. There are two plays in 2D Lotto. These are the Straight Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,000 and the Rambolito Play which has a prize of PhP 2,000. The chances of getting these prizes are respectively at 1 in 961 and 1 in 465.

PCSO holds live EZ2 2D Lotto draws every 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM every day except when a prior official announcement is made. Suspension of draws normally takes place during major national holidays.

How to Play 2D Lotto

Playing 2D Lotto is easy. Here’s the detailed instruction for playing this popular digit game:

  1. Select two (2) digits between 1 to 31, one from each column. These numbers will be your 2D Lotto combination.
  2. Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option lets the computer to randomly choose the number combination for you.
  3. Mark Rambolito in case you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the terminal automatically computes and generates all the possible combinations for the digits you selected.
  4. Pick your bet amount in the AMT column.
  5. Mark the number of draws you want to play in the Draw section.
  6. Give your play card and payment to the teller and get your printed ticket once printed.
  7. View the 2D result right after the scheduled draw to know if your ticket matches the winning combination.

Each 2D Lotto number combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your 2D Lotto ticket. Keep it in a safe and dry place.

Your ticket must be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.

Please remember that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim prizes.

You can also mark “Rambolito” if you want to play the 2D Lotto System bet. The minimum play amount is 12.00 per 2-number combination.

Additional Health and Safety Reminders when Playing 2D Lotto

In light of the on-going pandemic, 2D Lotto enthusiasts must abide by the following rules and regulations imposed at all lotto outlets when placing bets to ensure that the minimum health and safety guidelines are met.

  1. Wear your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting system shall be followed at all PCSO outlets nationwide.
  2. Follow social distancing when placing 2D Lotto bets.
  3. Bring your own pen to minimize the risk of catching the virus.
  4. Place the play slips and money in the tray provided by the outlet to eliminate physical contact.
  5. Apply alcohols or disinfectants before you leave the outlet.
  6. Use the garbage bins provided to put away used bet slips and/or old tickets.

In Standard or Straight Play, a bettor receives PhP 4,000 in case he gets the two winning numbers in exact order.

In Rambolito play, the player wins PhP 2,000 if he gets the two winning numbers in any order.

Frequently Asked Questions about 2D Lotto – Important Information about your Favorite PCSO game

How do I win a prize in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you pick two (2) digits, one for each column consisting of numbers 1 to 31.

If your entry matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you mark Rambolito option in the bet card.

In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize even if your chosen number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much less than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the 2D results in any order.

Do I win anything even if I DO NOT get the 2D winning numbers in the same order?

You win PhP 2,000 but only if you picked the Rambolito option.

You do not win anything in Straight or Standard Play if your 2D number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.

What if I made a mistake in marking my EZ2 numbers?

To cancel or disregard a specific 2D Lotto number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the play card to the cashier.

Please note that you can only void a 2D Lotto number combination before purchasing the ticket. A 2D Lotto entry that has been printed by the computer can no longer be canceled or voided.

Is EZ2 Lotto the same as 2D Lotto?

PCSO already renamed its EZ2 Lotto game to 2D Lotto. However, a lot of players still call it ‘EZ2’. Hence, this site still uses ‘EZ2’ in some of its articles when referring to 2D Lotto.

What is Documentary Stamps Tax?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).

PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

To claim 2D Lotto prizes below PhP 5,000, go to the authorized lotto outlet or nearest PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.

Lotto prizes above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at the nearest PCSO branch office.

Lotto prizes above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO head office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.

PCSO Official Announcements & Press Releases

February 10, 2021– PCSO discourages everyone from buying tickets from persons claiming to be part of a alleged PCSO ‘online’ betting system. The agency said it does not have any such platform yet.

January 6, 2021– PCSO 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws have resumed.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– PCSO announces the return of the PhP 20 ticket price of its major lotto games. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 after the TRAIN Law took effect.
