Along with 2D Lotto (EZ2), PCSO also facilitates today the draws for 3D Lotto (Swertres), STL, 6D Lotto, Lotto 6/42, and Grand Lotto 6/55.

2D Lotto is a game of two numbers from One (1) to Thirty-One (31). It was launched in July 2004 as “EZ2 Lotto” and has since become one of the extremely popular digit games in the country. There are two plays in 2D Lotto. These are the Standard Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,000 and the Rambolito Play which has a prize of PhP 2,000. The chances of winning these prizes are respectively at 1 in 961 and 1 in 465.

PCSO conducts EZ2 2D Lotto draws at 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM every day except when a prior public announcement is made. Cancellation of draws normally takes place during major national holidays.

PCSO likewise conducts draws for each of the five parimutuel lotto games three times a week. How to Play 2D Lotto

To play PCSO 2D Lotto, follow these detailed steps:

1. Choose two (2) numbers that will compose your 2D Lotto combination. You can pick from numbers 1 to 31, one number for each column.
2. If you cannot think of any number, mark the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the terminal randomly generate the numbers for you.
3. Mark Rambolito System Play in case you want the system to automatically compute the possible combinations of the numbers you have chosen.
4. Mark the play amount in the AMT column.
5. Choose the number of draws you want to play in the Draw section.
6. Hand over your play card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket once it is printed.
7. After the draw, check the 2D result to know if you won the prize.

Each 2D Lotto number combination costs PhP 12. The bet amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Make sure to sign the back of the your 2D Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a safe and dry place.

Do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.

Note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the prizes.

Just like 3D Lotto, 2D Lotto has three (3) draws each day. The first draw starts at 11AM followed by 4PM and the evening draws at 9PM.

Additional Health and Safety Protocols to be Followed when Playing 2D Lotto

In light of the on-going pandemic, 2D Lotto enthusiasts must abide by the following rules and regulations imposed at all lotto outlets when placing bets to ensure that the minimum health and safety standards are met.

1. Wear your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting system shall be followed in all PCSO lotto outlets nationwide.
2. Observe social distancing when placing 2D Lotto bets.
3. Use your own ball pen to reduce the risk of getting infected with the virus.
4. Place the bet slips and money in the tray provided by the outlet to decrease physical contact.
5. Use sanitizers or alcohols before you leave the outlet.
6. Use the garbage cans provided to put away used bet slips and/or old tickets.

2D Lotto Prizes for Rambolito and Standard/Straight Plays

PCSO 2D Lotto comes with different prizes for its Straight/Standard and Rambolito plays.

In Straight or Standard play, a player who matches the two drawn winning numbers in exact order receives PhP 4,000.

In Rambolito Play, the bettor wins PhP 2,000 if he matches the two different digits in any order.

How can I win prizes in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you choose two (2) digits, one for each column composed of digits 1 to 31.

If your entry matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you mark Rambolito option in the playing card.

In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize even if your selected combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prize in Rambolito Play is much smaller than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the 2D results in any order.

What are the odds of winning a prize in 2D Lotto?

In 2D Lotto Straight Play, the chances of matching the three winning numbers in exact order is 1 in 961 while the chances of winning in 2D Lotto Rambolito Play is 1 in 465.

How much do I win if I match all the 2D winning numbers but NOT in exact order?

You win PhP 2,000 but only if you marked the Rambolito option.

You do not win anything in Standard or Straight Play in case your 2D number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.

Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?

PCSO regularly suspends its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO modifies its draw schedule in such a manner that all draws are completed early in the afternoon.

What if I made a mistake in marking my EZ2 numbers?

To cancel or disregard a specific 2D Lotto entry, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the bet card to the teller.

Please note that you can only void a 2D Lotto number combination before purchasing the ticket. A 2D Lotto entry that has been accepted by the terminal can no longer be canceled or voided.
