How to Play 2D Lotto

Playing 2D Lotto is easy. Here’s the detailed instruction for playing this popular digit game:

  1. Mark a combination of two (2) numbers from one (1) to thirty-one (31) in each column on a 2D Lotto play slip.
  2. If you cannot think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to let the computer pick the 2D Lotto number combination for you.
  3. Choose Rambolito if you want the computer to automatically permutate all the possible combinations of the numbers you have selected.
  4. Pick the amount that you want to play for each combination.
  5. For Advance Plays, select the number of consecutive draws in the Draw Draw section.
  6. Pay the ticket price and get your generated ticket once done.
  7. View the 2D result after the live draw to verify if you matched the winning combination.

Each 2D Lotto number combination costs PhP 12. The play amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your 2D Lotto ticket and keep it in safe and dry place.

Your ticket has to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.

Note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the prizes.

Remember to win in the 2D Lotto, ALL of your numbers must match ALL of the winning combination in EXACT ORDER.

Additional PCSO Rules to be Observed when Playing 2D Lotto

In light of the on-going pandemic, 2D Lotto enthusiasts must abide by the following rules and regulations imposed at all lotto outlets when buying tickets to ensure that the minimum health and safety standards are met.

  1. Always wear your face mask. Bettors without face mask will not be allowed to play 2D Lotto.
  2. Follow social distancing at all times while in the outlet.
  3. Bring your own ball pen when purchasing lotto tickets.
  4. Use the tray provided when handing out your play slip and payment.
  5. Use the hand sanitizer, alcohols or disinfectant provided before leaving the outlet.
  6. Put away your used playing card and old lotto tickets into the garbage can.

2D Lotto Prizes for Rambolito and Standard/Straight Plays

PCSO 2D Lotto comes with two different prizes for its Straight/Standard and Rambolito plays.

In Standard or Straight play, a bettor who matches the two drawn winning numbers in exact order receives PhP 4,000.

In Rambolito Play, the player takes home PhP 2,000 in case he matches the two different digits in any order.

Frequently Asked Questions about 2D Lotto – Important Information about your Favorite PCSO game

How can I win prizes in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you mark two (2) numbers, one for each column composed of numbers 1 to 31.

If your entry matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in your bet card.

In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize regardless if your selected number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much lower than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the 2D results in any order.

What is Lucky Pick in 2D Lotto?

The Lucky Pick or LP option lets the computer to automatically choose the 2D Lotto number for you if you cannot think of any number to bet on.

To use this option, just mark the LP in the playslip.

What if I made a mistake in marking my EZ2 numbers?

To cancel or disregard a specific 2D Lotto number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the playing card to the teller.

Please note that you can only void a 2D Lotto number combination before purchasing the ticket. A 2D Lotto entry that has been accepted by the system can no longer be voided or canceled.

How many Advance Draws can I play in 2D Lotto?

You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just pick your desired number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your 2D Lotto entry will then be played repeatedly according to the number of draws you marked.

For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen 2D Lotto entry shall be valid for the succeeding six (6) 2D Lotto draws.

What does DST stand for?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).

PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

What are the odds of winning a prize in 2D Lotto?

In 2D Lotto Standard Play, the odds of matching the three winning numbers in exact order is 1 in 961 while the odds of winning in 2D Lotto Rambolito Play is 1 in 465.

PCSO Official Announcements & Press Releases

February 10, 2021– PCSO warns the public against buying tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. PCSO states it has no such system yet in place that will cater to such transactions.

January 6, 2021– PCSO 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws have resumed.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major lotto games. Ticket prices were previously raised to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Act.
