2D Lotto (also called EZ2 Lotto) is one of the oldest fixed payout games facilitated by PCSO. It has been extremely popular among the public since its launch in 2004. 2D Lotto prizes are PhP 4,000 for Straight Play and PhP 2,000 for Rambolito Play. The chances of getting these prizes are 1 in 961 and 1 in 465, respectively.

How to Play 2D Lotto

These are the detailed instructions when playing the 2D Lotto:

1. Mark two (2) digits that will comprise your 2D Lotto combination. You can mark numbers 1 to 31, one number for each column.
2. If you cannot think of any number, mark the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the system randomly generate the number combination for you.
3. Choose Rambolito System Play if you want the computer to automatically generate the possible combinations of the numbers you have selected.
4. Select the play amount in the AMT section.
5. Choose the number of draws you want to play in the Draw section.
6. Hand over your bet card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket after it is printed.
7. After the draw, see the 2D result to verify if you won the prize.

Each 2D Lotto combination costs PhP 12. The play amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your 2D Lotto ticket and store it in secure and dry place.

Do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.

Remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the prizes.

Remember to win in the 2D Lotto, ALL of your numbers must match ALL of the winning combination in EXACT ORDER.

Additional Guidelines to be Followed by Bettors when Playing 2D Lotto

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following protocol in all lotto outlets in the country.

1. Always wear your face mask. Players with no face mask will not be allowed to purchase 2D Lotto tickets.
2. Follow physical distancing at all times while in the outlet.
3. Bring your own pen when purchasing lotto tickets.
4. Use the tray provided when handing out your bet slip and payment.
5. Use the hand sanitizer, alcohols or disinfectant provided before you leave the lotto outlet.
6. Put away your used bet card and old lotto tickets into the garbage can.

PCSO 2D Lotto comes with different prizes for its Standard/Straight and Rambolito plays.

In Straight or Standard play, a player who gets the two drawn winning numbers in exact order wins PhP 4,000.

In Rambolito Play, the bettor takes home PhP 2,000 if he matches the two different digits in any order.

What are the ways to win in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you select two (2) numbers, one for each column consisting of digits 1 to 31.

If your number combination matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you select Rambolito option in your bet card.

In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize even if your marked combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much smaller than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the 2D results in any order.

What is the new name of EZ2 Lotto?

EZ2 Lotto has been rebranded as 2D Lotto by PCSO. However, a lot of bettors are still used to the name ‘EZ2’. Hence, this site still uses ‘EZ2’ in some of its articles when referring to 2D Lotto.

Can I play the same 2D Lotto combination in advance?

You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just pick your preferred number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your 2D Lotto entry shall then be played multiple times based on the number of draws you marked.

For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen 2D Lotto entry will be valid for the subsequent six (6) 2D Lotto draws.

How do I void an entry in the EZ2 play slip?

To cancel or disregard a specific 2D Lotto entry, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the play card to the teller.

Please note that you can only void a 2D Lotto number combination before purchasing the ticket. A 2D Lotto number combination that has been processed by the terminal can no longer be voided or canceled.

What does LP in 2D Lotto mean?

The Lucky Pick or LP option instructs the computer to automatically select the 2D Lotto number for you if you cannot think of any number to bet on.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements

February 10, 2021– PCSO warns the public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. The agency states it has no such platform yet in place that will cater to such transactions.

January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– All major lotto ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously increased to PhP 24 as required under the TRAIN Act.
