How to Play 2D Lotto
Follow these complete instructions to learn how to play the 2D Lotto game:
- Choose your 2D number combination by marking one (1) out of numbers 1 to 31 in each of the columns.
- Choose LP (Lucky Pick) in case you want the computer to automatically choose the numbers for you.
- Choose Rambolito in case you want to play the Rambolito System Play.
- Mark your play amount in the AMT column.
- For Advance Plays, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw panel.
- Pay the total ticket price to the teller and get your printed 2D ticket.
- Check the 2D result after the live draw to verify if you won a prize.
Each 2D Lotto number combination costs PhP 12. The play amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the the 2D Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your 2D Lotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets have to be machine-validated when claiming prizes.
Please remember that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim lotto prizes.
You can also mark “Rambolito” if you want to play the 2D Lotto System bet. The minimum play amount is 12.00 per 2-number combination.
Important Health and Safety Reminders when Playing 2D Lotto
In light of the on-going pandemic, 2D Lotto enthusiasts must observe the following rules and regulations imposed at all outlets when placing bets to ensure that the minimum health and safety guidelines are met.
- Put on your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting scheme shall be carried out in all PCSO lotto outlets in the country.
- Follow physical distancing when buying 2D Lotto tickets.
- Use your own ball pen to lessen the risk of contracting the virus.
- Place the play slips and cash in the tray provided by the lotto outlet to reduce physical contact.
- Use disinfectants or alcohols before you leave the lotto outlet.
- Use the garbage cans provided to throw away used play slips and/or old lotto tickets.

In Standard or Straight Play, a bettor wins PhP 4,000 if he matches the two winning numbers in exact order.
In Rambolito play, the player takes home PhP 2,000 in case he matches the two winning numbers in any order.

What are the ways to win in 2D Lotto?
You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you select two (2) digits, one for each column composed of numbers 1 to 31.
If your entry matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you mark Rambolito option in the bet card.
In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize regardless if your selected number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prize in Rambolito Play is much smaller than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the 2D results in any order.

What are the odds of winning a prize in 2D Lotto?
In 2D Lotto Standard Play, the chances of getting the three winning numbers in exact order is 1 in 961 while the odds of winning in 2D Lotto Rambolito Play is 1 in 465.
What happens if the draw date indicated in the 2D Lotto ticket is wrong?
2D Lotto tickets, once generated, can no longer be modified. Hence, bettors are advised to verify their tickets before leaving the outlet. Bettors are responsible for checking the information printed on their tickets.
How do I void an entry in the EZ2 play slip?
To cancel or disregard a specific 2D Lotto entry, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the playing card to the cashier.
Please note that you can only void a 2D Lotto entry before purchasing the ticket. A 2D Lotto number combination that has been accepted by the system can no longer be voided or canceled.
Are 2D Lotto Prizes Tax-free?
2D Lotto prizes are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Law because the maximum 2D Lotto prize is only PhP 4,000.
Only winnings exceeding PhP 10,000 are taxable.
What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Act).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

Lotto winnings above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO head office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.

PCSO News and Official Announcements
February 10, 2021– PCSO discourages everyone from buying lotto tickets from persons claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. The agency confirms it does not have any such platform yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 4-Digit and 6-Digit Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto operation starting August 4, 2020.
July 18, 2020– All major lotto ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously increased to PhP 24 as required by the TRAIN Act.
