2D Lotto is a game of two numbers from One (1) to Thirty-One (31). It was launched in July 2004 as “EZ2 Lotto” and has since become one of the most popular fixed-prize games accross the Philippines. There are two plays in 2D Lotto. These are the Straight Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,000 and the Rambolito Play which has a prize of PhP 2,000. The odds of getting these prizes are respectively at 1 in 961 and 1 in 465.

Official EZ2 2D Lotto draws take place every day at 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM except when the draws are postponed by PCSO. In such instances, PCSO makes a prior announcement.

How to Play 2D Lotto

2D Lotto is a popular fixed-prize game of two (2) numbers from One (1) to Thirty One (31). Here’s how you can play the 2D Lotto:

  1. Select your 2D number combination by marking one (1) out of numbers 1 to 31 in each of the columns.
  2. Choose LP (Lucky Pick) in case you want the terminal to randomly pick the number combination for you.
  3. Choose Rambolito in case you want to play the Rambolito System Play.
  4. Select the bet amount in the AMT section.
  5. For Advance Plays, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw panel.
  6. Pay the total ticket price to the cashier and get your printed 2D Lotto ticket.
  7. Check the 2D result after the scheduled draw to know if you won a prize.

2D Lotto ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your 2D Lotto ticket and keep it in secure and dry place.

Your ticket has to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.

Remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the prizes.

You can also mark “Rambolito” if you want to play the 2D Lotto System bet. The minimum play amount is 12.00 per 2-number combination.

Additional Health and Safety Regulations to be Observed when Playing 2D Lotto

During this time of pandemic, PCSO requires 2D Lotto players to abide by the rules below when transacting in all lotto outlets in the country.

  1. Always wear your face mask. Players with no face mask will not be permitted to purchase 2D Lotto tickets.
  2. Follow physical distancing at all times while in the lotto outlet.
  3. Use your own ball pen when purchasing lotto tickets.
  4. Use the tray provided when handing out your playing card and payment.
  5. Use the disinfectant, hand sanitizer or alcohols provided before you leave the outlet.
  6. Put away your used playing card and non-winning tickets into the garbage can.

2D Lotto Prizes for Standard/Straight and Rambolito Plays

PCSO 2D Lotto comes with two different prizes for its Standard/Straight and Rambolito plays.

In Straight or Standard play, a bettor who matches the two drawn winning numbers in exact order receives PhP 4,000.

In Rambolito Play, the player wins PhP 2,000 in case he matches the two different digits in any order.

How to win a prize in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you mark two (2) numbers, one for each column consisting of digits 1 to 31.

If your entry matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you select Rambolito option in your play card.

In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize regardless if your selected number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much lower than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the 2D results in any order.

How many 2D Lotto draws can I play in advance?

You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just select your intended number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your 2D Lotto entry will then be played repeatedly according to the number of draws you selected.

For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen 2D Lotto entry shall be valid for the subsequent six (6) 2D Lotto draws.

I am below 18 years old, am I allowed to play 2D Lotto?

Only persons 18 years old and above are allowed to play the 2D Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place because of the current COVID-19 epidemic.

What does LP in 2D Lotto mean?

The Lucky Pick or LP option commands the computer to automatically pick the 2D Lotto number combination for you if you do not have any number in mind.

To use this option, just mark the LP in the playslip.

PCSO Official Announcements & Press Statements

February 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the betting public to not to patronize persons and entities claiming to be part of PCSO and enticing them to buy lotto tickets online using their platform. To date, the agency has no online betting platform yet whether through an app, text or calls.

January 6, 2021– PCSO 4D and 6D Lotto draws have resumed.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– All major lotto ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 as required under the TRAIN Law.
