2D Lotto is a game of two numbers from One (1) to Thirty-One (31). It was introduced in July 2004 as “EZ2 Lotto” and has since become one of the extremely popular fixed payout lotteries accross the cuntry. There are two plays in 2D Lotto. These are the Standard Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,000 and the Rambolito Play which has a prize of PhP 2,000. The odds of winning these prizes are respectively at 1 in 961 and 1 in 465.

How to Play 2D Lotto

2D Lotto is a popular fixed-prize game of two (2) numbers from One (1) to Thirty One (31). Here’s how you can play the 2D Lotto:

  1. Select two (2) numbers that will compose your 2D Lotto combination. You can mark numbers 1 to 31, one number for each column.
  2. If you can’t think of any number, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the system automatically generate the number combination for you.
  3. Choose Rambolito System Play in case you want the computer to automatically compute the possible combinations of the numbers you have selected.
  4. Select the bet amount in the AMT column.
  5. Choose the number of draws you want to play in the Draw section.
  6. Hand over your play card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket after it is generated.
  7. After the draw, view the 2D result to verify if you won the prize.

2D Lotto ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your 2D Lotto ticket and keep it in secure and dry place.

Your ticket has to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket.

Please remember that only 18 years old and above are allowed to play and claim prizes.

Just like 3D Lotto, 2D Lotto has three (3) draws each day. The first draw starts at 11AM followed by 4PM and the evening draws at 9PM.

New Health and Safety Reminders when Playing 2D Lotto

During this time of pandemic, PCSO requires 2D Lotto players to abide by the rules below when transacting in all lotto outlets in the country.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Players without face mask will not be allowed to place 2D Lotto bets.
  2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
  3. Bring your own pen.
  4. Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Hand sanitizers or alcohols are available in the betting area.
  5. Use the money tray to lessen contact.
  6. Avoid littering and throw away used play slips or old lotto tickets in the trash cans.

2D Lotto Prizes for Rambolito and Standard/Straight Plays

PCSO 2D Lotto comes with different prizes for its Standard/Straight and Rambolito plays.

In Standard or Straight play, a bettor who matches the two drawn winning numbers in exact order receives PhP 4,000.

In Rambolito Play, the player receives PhP 2,000 if he matches the two different digits in any order.

How do I win a prize in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you select two (2) numbers, one for each column consisting of numbers 1 to 31.

If your number combination matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you mark Rambolito option in the play card.

In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize even if your marked number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prize in Rambolito Play is much lower than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the 2D results in any order.

How many Advance Draws can I play in 2D Lotto?

You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just mark your intended number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your 2D Lotto entry shall then be played repeatedly based on the number of draws you chose.

For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen 2D Lotto combination will be valid for the subsequent six (6) 2D Lotto draws.

What is the price of a 2D Lotto ticket?

A bettor can purchase the 2D Lotto ticket for 12 Pesos per combination at the nearest authorized PCSO lotto outlet. This amount is inclusive of the Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Who are allowed to play 2D Lotto?

PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play the 2D Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place owing to the on-going COVID-19 epidemic.

Can I get a refund for the 2D Lotto ticket that I bought?

You cannot cancel, void or refund a 2D Lotto ticket once it is accepted by the system. Bettors have the sole responsibility of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the 2D Lotto ticket such as the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.

Thus, you need to double-check all the numbers and options you chose before you give the bet slip to the cashier.

February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from purchasing lotto tickets from entities claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting platform. The agency states it does not have any such system yet.

January 6, 2021– PCSO 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws have resumed.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– PCSO announces the return of the PhP 20 ticket price of its major lotto games. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 after the TRAIN Law took effect.
