How to Play 2D Lotto

2D Lotto is a popular fixed-prize game of two (2) numbers from One (1) to Thirty One (31). Here’s how you can play the 2D Lotto:

  1. Pick two (2) digits between 1 to 31, one from each column. These digits will be your 2D Lotto combination.
  2. Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option lets the terminal to randomly pick the number combination for you.
  3. Mark Rambolito if you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the terminal automatically computes and generates all the possible combinations for the digits you picked.
  4. Pick your bet amount in the AMT column.
  5. Mark the number of draws you want to play in the Draw panel.
  6. Hand over your bet slip and payment to the cashier and get your generated ticket once printed.
  7. Check the 2D result right after the live draw to verify if your ticket matches the winning combination.

2D Lotto ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Make sure to sign the back portion of the your 2D Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a safe and dry place.

Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your 2D Lotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets need to be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.

Note that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim lotto prizes.

Additional PCSO Rules to be Observed when Playing 2D Lotto

In light of the on-going pandemic, 2D Lotto players must abide by the following rules and regulations imposed at all PCSO lotto outlets when placing bets to ensure that the minimum health and safety standards are met.

  1. Always wear your face mask. Players without face mask will not be permitted to place 2D Lotto bets.
  2. Follow physical distancing at all times while in the lotto outlet.
  3. Use your own ball pen when buying lotto tickets.
  4. Use the tray provided when handing out your play slip and payment.
  5. Use the alcohols, disinfectant or hand sanitizer provided before you leave the lotto outlet.
  6. Put away your used play slip and old tickets into the trash bin.

PCSO 2D Lotto comes with two different prizes for its Standard/Straight and Rambolito plays.

In Straight or Standard play, a bettor who matches the two drawn winning numbers in exact order wins PhP 4,000.

In Rambolito Play, the player takes home PhP 2,000 if he matches the two different digits in any order.

How to win a prize in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you mark two (2) numbers, one for each column composed of numbers 1 to 31.

If your number combination matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in the bet slip.

In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize regardless if your marked number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prize in Rambolito Play is much lower than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the 2D results in any order.

I changed my mind, can I ask for a refund?

You cannot cancel, void or refund a 2D Lotto ticket after it is accepted by the system. Players have the sole responsibility of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the 2D Lotto ticket such as the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.

Thus, you need to verify all the numbers and options you marked before you submit the play slip to the teller.

What happens if the draw date indicated in the 2D Lotto ticket is wrong?

2D Lotto tickets, once generated, can no longer be modified. Hence, players are advised to verify their tickets before leaving the outlet. Bettors are responsible for checking the information printed on their 2D Lotto tickets.

What is DST?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).

PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

PCSO News and Official Announcements

February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from purchasing lotto tickets from entities claiming to be part of a alleged PCSO ‘online’ betting system. The agency said it does not have any such system yet.

January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 4-Digit and 6-Digit Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major lotto games. Ticket prices were previously raised to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Act.
