How to Play 2D Lotto

To play 2D Lotto, follow these detailed instructions:

  1. Pick a set of two (2) numbers from one (1) to thirty-one (31) in each column on a 2D Lotto play card.
  2. If you cannot think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to let the computer generate the 2D Lotto number combination for you.
  3. Choose Rambolito in case you want the terminal to automatically compute all the possible combinations of the numbers you have picked.
  4. Select the amount that you wish to play for each combination.
  5. For Advance Plays, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw Draw panel.
  6. Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
  7. View the 2D result after the live draw to know if you got the winning number combination.

Each 2D Lotto combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Make sure to sign the back portion of the your 2D Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a safe and dry place.

Do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.

Remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim prizes.

In playing via Advance Draws, mark how many consecutive draws you want to play in the DRAW panel. You can play the same numbers and play type for six (6) consecutive draws. Pay 12.00 for each play per draw.

Important Health and Safety Regulations to be Followed when Playing 2D Lotto

In light of the on-going pandemic, 2D Lotto bettors must observe the following rules and regulations imposed at all PCSO lotto outlets when purchasing tickets to ensure that the minimum health and safety guidelines are met.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors with no face mask will not be permitted to purchase 2D Lotto tickets.
  2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
  3. Bring your own ball pen.
  4. Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Alcohol or hand sanitizers are available in the betting area.
  5. Use the money tray to lessen contact.
  6. Avoid littering and put away used bet slips or old lotto tickets in the trash cans.

2D Lotto Prizes for Straight/Standard and Rambolito Plays

2D Lotto is one of PCSO’s popular digit game. PCSO uses the following payout system for 2D Lotto:

In Straight or Standard Play, a player takes home PhP 4,000 if he gets the two winning numbers in exact order.

In Rambolito play, the bettor wins PhP 2,000 in case he gets the two winning numbers in any order.

How can I win prizes in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you choose two (2) numbers, one for each column consisting of digits 1 to 31.

If your number combination matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you choose Rambolito option in the bet slip.

In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize regardless if your selected number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much smaller than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the 2D results in any order.

Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?

PCSO regularly cancels its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO shortens its draw schedule so that all draws are finished early in the day.

How much does a 2D Lotto ticket cost?

A bettor can purchase the 2D Lotto ticket for 12 Pesos per combination at any authorized PCSO lotto outlet. This amount is inclusive of the Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Who are allowed to play 2D Lotto?

PCSO only allows persons aged 18 and above to play the 2D Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place due to the current COVID-19 epidemic.

How do I void an entry in the EZ2 play slip?

To cancel or disregard a specific 2D Lotto number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before handing over the bet slip to the teller.

Please note that you can only void a 2D Lotto entry before purchasing the ticket. A 2D Lotto entry that has been processed by the terminal can no longer be voided or canceled.

What does DST stand for?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).

PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

If you won in any of the 2D Lotto draws today, consider these useful tips when claiming your prize.

To claim 2D Lotto winnings below PhP 5,000, proceed to the authorized lotto outlet or nearest PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.

Lotto prizes above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at any PCSO branch office.

Lotto prizes above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO head office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.

February 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the public against buying tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. The agency states it has no such platform yet in place that will cater to such transactions.

January 6, 2021– PCSO 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws have resumed.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
