How to Play 2D Lotto

Follow these detailed instructions to learn how to play the 2D Lotto game:

  1. Choose two (2) numbers that will compose your 2D Lotto combination. You can pick from numbers 1 to 31, one number for each column.
  2. If you cannot think of any number combination, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the terminal randomly pick the number combination for you.
  3. Choose Rambolito System Play if you want the system to automatically generate the possible combinations of the numbers you have selected.
  4. Mark the play amount in the AMT section.
  5. Mark the number of draws you want to play in the Draw section.
  6. Hand over your bet card and corresponding payment to the teller and get your ticket once it is printed.
  7. After the draw, access the 2D result to see if you won the prize.

2D Lotto ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your 2D Lotto ticket. Store it in a safe and dry place.

Do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.

Please remember that you must be at least 18 years old to play and claim prizes.

How to Play: Using the 2D Lotto playslip, select a set of two (2) numbers from a field of 1 to 31. You can also play the Lucky Pick (LP) if you do not have any number in mind. After marking your chosen numbers, mark the amount that you’re going to play for each combination. Play amount varies from PhP12.00 to PhP600.00 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

New Guidelines to be Observed by Bettors when Playing 2D Lotto

In light of the on-going pandemic, 2D Lotto players must abide by the following rules and regulations imposed at all lotto outlets when buying tickets to ensure that the minimum health and safety protocols are met.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors with no face mask will not be permitted to buy 2D Lotto tickets.
  2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
  3. Bring your own ball pen.
  4. Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Alcohol or hand sanitizers are available in the betting area.
  5. Use the money tray to reduce physical contact.
  6. Avoid littering and throw away any used play slips or non-winning tickets in the trash cans.

2D Lotto Prizes for Straight/Standard and Rambolito Plays

PCSO 2D Lotto comes with two different prizes for its Straight/Standard and Rambolito plays.

In Straight or Standard play, a player who matches the two drawn winning numbers in exact order receives PhP 4,000.

In Rambolito Play, the bettor wins PhP 2,000 in case he matches the two different digits in any order.

2D Lotto FAQs – Everything you Need to Know about 2D Lotto

How do I win a prize in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you choose two (2) digits, one for each column composed of numbers 1 to 31.

If your entry matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you choose Rambolito option in the bet card.

In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize even if your marked number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prize in Rambolito Play is much smaller than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the 2D results in any order.

Will there be any 2D Lotto draw during Holy Week?

PCSO generally suspends its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO shortens its draw schedule so that all draws are finished early in the day.

Can I play the same 2D Lotto combination in advance?

You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just pick your preferred number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your 2D Lotto entry will then be played repeatedly based on the number of draws you selected.

For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen 2D Lotto combination will be valid for the subsequent six (6) 2D Lotto draws.

What are the odds of winning a prize in 2D Lotto?

In 2D Lotto Standard Play, the chances of matching the three winning numbers in exact order is 1 in 961 while the chances of winning in 2D Lotto Rambolito Play is 1 in 465.

What does LP in 2D Lotto mean?

The Lucky Pick or LP option commands the computer to automatically choose the 2D Lotto number combination for you if you cannot think of any number to bet on.

To use this option, just select the LP in the playslip.

Who are allowed to play 2D Lotto?

PCSO only allows persons aged 18 and above to play the 2D Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place because of the current COVID-19 pandemic.

To claim 2D Lotto winnings below PhP 5,000, go to the nearest authorized lotto outlet or PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.

Lotto winnings above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at the nearest PCSO branch office.

Winnings above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO head office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.

February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from purchasing tickets from entities claiming to be part of a alleged PCSO ‘online’ betting system. The agency states it does not have any such system yet.

January 6, 2021– PCSO 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws have resumed.

July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– All major lotto ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously increased to PhP 24 as mandated by the TRAIN Law.
