2D Lotto is a game of two numbers from One (1) to Thirty-One (31). It was created in July 2004 as “EZ2 Lotto” and has since become one of the hugely popular digit lotteries in the country. There are two plays in 2D Lotto. These are the Standard Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,000 and the Rambolito Play which has a prize of PhP 2,000. The chances of winning these prizes are respectively at 1 in 961 and 1 in 465.
PCSO conducts EZ2 2D Lotto draws every 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM daily except when a prior announcement is made. Postponement of draws regularly takes place during major national holidays.

How to Play 2D Lotto
2D Lotto is a popular fixed-prize game of two (2) numbers from One (1) to Thirty One (31). Here’s how you can play the 2D Lotto:
- Select two (2) numbers that will comprise your 2D Lotto combination. You can select from numbers 1 to 31, one number for each column.
- If you cannot think of any number, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the computer automatically generate the number combination for you.
- Choose Rambolito System Play in case you want the system to automatically permutate the possible combinations of the digits you have selected.
- Mark your play amount in the AMT section.
- Choose the number of draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Hand over your play card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket after it is generated.
- After the draw, check the 2D result to verify if you won the prize.
2D Lotto ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your 2D Lotto ticket and store it in safe and dry place.
Your ticket has to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket.
Please remember that you must be at least 18 years old to play and claim prizes.
You can also mark “Rambolito” if you want to play the 2D Lotto System bet. The minimum play amount is 12.00 per 2-number combination.
Additional PCSO Protocols to be Observed when Playing 2D Lotto
PCSO has implemented the regulations below to be observed by 2D Lotto players nationwide.
- Always wear your face mask. Bettors with no face mask will not be allowed to purchase 2D Lotto tickets.
- Follow physical distancing at all times while in the outlet.
- Use your own pen when purchasing lotto tickets.
- Use the tray provided when handing out your play card and payment.
- Use the disinfectant, hand sanitizer or alcohols provided before leaving the lotto outlet.
- Throw away your used bet slip and non-winning lotto tickets into the garbage bin.
2D Lotto Prizes for Rambolito and Standard/Straight Plays
PCSO 2D Lotto comes with two different prizes for its Straight/Standard and Rambolito plays.
In Standard or Straight play, a bettor who gets the two drawn winning numbers in exact order receives PhP 4,000.
In Rambolito Play, the bettor wins PhP 2,000 in case he gets the two different digits in any order.

What are the ways to win in 2D Lotto?
You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you mark two (2) numbers, one for each column consisting of numbers 1 to 31.
If your entry matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in the bet card.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize regardless if your selected combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prize in Rambolito Play is much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the 2D results in any order.

How do I choose Lucky Pick?
The Lucky Pick or LP option instructs the computer to automatically choose the 2D Lotto number combination for you if you cannot think of any number to bet on.
To use this option, just select the LP in the playslip.
How do I correct the numbers I entered in the EZ2 bet slip?
To cancel or disregard a specific 2D Lotto number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before handing over the play slip to the teller.
Please note that you can only void a 2D Lotto entry before purchasing the ticket. A 2D Lotto number combination that has been processed by the system can no longer be voided or canceled.
How much do I win in 2D Lotto?
In Standard/Straight play, you win PhP 4,000 if you got the winning combination in exact order.
In Rambolito play, you win PhP 2,000 if you match the winning combination in any order.

Are 2D Lotto winnings tax-exempt?
2D Lotto prizes are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Act since the maximum 2D Lotto prize is only PhP 4,000.
Only winnings exceeding PhP 10,000 are subject to 20% tax.
How do I claim my 2D Lotto Prize?

To claim 2D Lotto winnings below PhP 5,000, go to the nearest authorized lotto outlet or nearest PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.
Prizes above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at the nearest PCSO branch office.
Lotto prizes above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO head office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.

February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from purchasing lotto tickets from persons claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting platform. The agency confirms it does not have any such system yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 4-Digit and 6-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto operation starting August 4, 2020.
