Along with 2D Lotto (EZ2), PCSO also operates today the draws for 3D Lotto (Swertres), STL, 4D Lotto, Mega Lotto 6/45, and Ultra Lotto 6/58.

2D Lotto is a game of two numbers from One (1) to Thirty-One (31). It was introduced in July 2004 as “EZ2 Lotto” and has since become one of the extremely popular fixed-prize games accross the Philippines. There are two plays in 2D Lotto. These are the Standard Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,000 and the Rambolito Play which has a prize of PhP 2,000. The chances of winning these prizes are respectively at 1 in 961 and 1 in 465.

EZ2 2D Lotto draws happen daily at 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM except when the draws are suspended by PCSO. During these instances, PCSO makes a prior official announcement.

How to Play 2D Lotto

Playing PCSO 2D Lotto is easy. Here’s the detailed instruction for playing this popular numbers game:

1. Select a combination of two (2) numbers from one (1) to thirty-one (31) in each column on a 2D Lotto play card.
2. If you can’t think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to let the system pick the 2D Lotto number combination for you.
3. Mark Rambolito in case you want the computer to automatically generate all the possible combinations of the numbers you have selected.
4. Mark the amount that you want to play for each combination.
5. For Advance Plays, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw Draw section.
6. Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
7. View the 2D result after the live draw to see if you matched the winning number combination.

One 2D Lotto combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your 2D Lotto ticket and keep it in secure and dry place.

Your ticket must be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket.

Note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the prizes.

You can also mark “Rambolito” if you want to play the 2D Lotto System bet. The minimum play amount is 12.00 per 2-number combination.

Additional Health and Safety Rules to be Followed when Playing 2D Lotto

During this time of pandemic, PCSO requires 2D Lotto bettors to observe the guidelines below when transacting in all lotto outlets in the country.

1. Wear your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting scheme shall be carried out in all outlets in the country.
2. Follow social distancing when placing 2D Lotto bets.
3. Bring your own pen to decrease the risk of contracting the virus.
4. Place the play slips and cash in the tray provided by the lotto outlet to lessen physical contact.
5. Use sanitizers or alcohols before you leave the outlet.
6. Use the garbage cans provided to discard used bet slips and/or old lotto tickets.

2D Lotto Prizes for Rambolito and Standard/Straight Plays

2D Lotto is one of PCSO’s popular digit game. PCSO uses the following payout structure for 2D Lotto:

In Standard or Straight Play, a player wins PhP 4,000 in case he matches the two winning numbers in exact order.

In Rambolito play, the player takes home PhP 2,000 if he matches the two winning numbers in any order.

How to win a prize in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you mark two (2) digits, one for each column consisting of numbers 1 to 31.

If your number combination matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in your playing card.

In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize even if your selected combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much lower than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the 2D results in any order.

Do I win anything even if I DO NOT get the 2D winning numbers in the same order?

You win PhP 2,000 but only if you selected the Rambolito option.

You do not win anything in Standard or Straight Play in case your 2D number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.

I am below 18 years old, am I allowed to play 2D Lotto?

Only persons 18 years old and above are allowed to play the 2D Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place because of the on-going COVID-19 epidemic.

What is Documentary Stamps Tax?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).

PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

Can I cancel or refund a ticket I already paid?

You cannot cancel, void or refund a 2D Lotto ticket after it is printed by the system. Bettors have the sole duty of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the 2D Lotto ticket including the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.

Thus, you need to double-check all the numbers and options you chose before you give the play card to the cashier.

Where do I claim 2D Lotto Prizes?

To claim 2D Lotto winnings below PhP 5,000, go to the authorized lotto outlet or PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.

Lotto winnings above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at the nearest PCSO branch office.

Lotto winnings above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO head office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.

PCSO Official Announcements & Press Statements

February 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the public against buying tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. The agency states it has no such platform yet in place that will support such transactions.

January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major games. Ticket prices were previously raised to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Law.
