2D Lotto is a game of two numbers from One (1) to Thirty-One (31). It was introduced in July 2004 as “EZ2 Lotto” and has since become one of the extremely popular digit games accross the Philippines. There are two plays in 2D Lotto. These are the Standard Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,000 and the Rambolito Play which has a prize of PhP 2,000. The odds of winning these prizes are respectively at 1 in 961 and 1 in 465.

Official EZ2 2D Lotto draws happen daily at 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM except when the draws are canceled by PCSO. During these occasions, PCSO makes a prior public announcement.

How to Play 2D Lotto

2D Lotto is a popular fixed-prize game of two (2) numbers from One (1) to Thirty One (31). Here’s how you can play the 2D Lotto:

  1. Select two (2) digits between 1 to 31, one from each column. These numbers will be your 2D Lotto combination.
  2. Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option lets the computer to automatically generate the numbers for you.
  3. Mark Rambolito if you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the computer automatically computes and generates all the possible combinations for the numbers you chose.
  4. Mark the bet amount in the AMT column.
  5. Mark the number of draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
  6. Give your bet card and payment to the teller and get your printed ticket once printed.
  7. Check the 2D result right after the scheduled draw to see if your ticket matches the winning number combination.

2D Lotto ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the 2D Lotto ticket. Store it in a safe and dry place.

Do not soak in water, fold or iron or write anything on your 2D Lotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets must be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.

Please remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the lotto prizes.

How to Play: Using the 2D Lotto playslip, select a set of two (2) numbers from a field of 1 to 31. You can also play the Lucky Pick (LP) if you do not have any number in mind. After marking your chosen numbers, mark the amount that you’re going to play for each combination. Play amount varies from PhP12.00 to PhP600.00 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

New Rules to be Observed by Bettors when Playing 2D Lotto

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following regulations in all lotto outlets in the country.

  1. Always wear your face mask. Players with no face mask will not be allowed to purchase 2D Lotto tickets.
  2. Observe physical distancing at all times while in the outlet.
  3. Use your own pen when placing bets.
  4. Use the tray provided when handing out your play slip and payment.
  5. Use the hand sanitizer, alcohols or disinfectant provided before leaving the outlet.
  6. Put away your used play slip and non-winning lotto tickets into the trash bin.

2D Lotto Prizes for Rambolito and Standard/Straight Plays

PCSO 2D Lotto comes with two different prizes for its Straight/Standard and Rambolito plays.

In Standard or Straight play, a bettor who gets the two drawn winning numbers in exact order receives PhP 4,000.

In Rambolito Play, the bettor takes home PhP 2,000 in case he matches the two different digits in any order.

How can I win prizes in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you select two (2) numbers, one for each column consisting of numbers 1 to 31.

If your number combination matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Standard/Straight Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in your bet slip.

In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize even if your chosen combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much lower than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the 2D results in any order.

How much does a 2D Lotto ticket cost?

A bettor can purchase the 2D Lotto ticket for 12 Pesos per number combination at the nearest authorized PCSO lotto outlet. This amount is inclusive of the Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

What happens if wrong numbers are printed in the 2D Lotto ticket?

2D Lotto tickets, once printed, can no longer be modified. Hence, bettors are advised to verify their tickets before leaving the lotto outlet. Players are responsible for verifying the information printed on their tickets.

What if I made a mistake in marking my EZ2 numbers?

To cancel or disregard a specific 2D Lotto number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the bet card to the teller.

Please note that you can only void a 2D Lotto entry before purchasing the ticket. A 2D Lotto entry that has been accepted by the terminal can no longer be voided or canceled.

February 10, 2021– PCSO warns the betting public against purchasing lotto tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. PCSO confirms it has no such system yet in place that will cater to such transactions.
