How to Play 2D Lotto

Playing 2D Lotto is easy. Here’s the complete instruction for playing this popular digit game:

  1. Choose two (2) numbers between 1 to 31, one from each column. These numbers will be your 2D Lotto combination.
  2. Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option lets the system to automatically pick the number combination for you.
  3. Mark Rambolito if you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the system automatically computes and generates all the possible combinations for the digits you chose.
  4. Pick the play amount in the AMT section.
  5. Choose the number of draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
  6. Give your bet slip and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
  7. See the 2D result right after the scheduled draw to see if your ticket matches the winning combination.

Each 2D Lotto combination costs PhP 12. The play amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your 2D Lotto ticket and keep it in secure and dry place.

Do not soak in water, fold or iron or write anything on your 2D Lotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets have to be machine-validated when claiming prizes.

Remember that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim lotto prizes.

Just like 3D Lotto, 2D Lotto has three (3) draws each day. The first draw starts at 11AM followed by 4PM and the evening draws at 9PM.

Additional Health and Safety Regulations to be Followed when Playing 2D Lotto

PCSO has implemented the regulations below to be observed by 2D Lotto bettors nationwide.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors with no face mask will not be permitted to place 2D Lotto bets.
  2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
  3. Bring your own ball pen.
  4. Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Hand sanitizers or alcohols are available in the betting area.
  5. Use the money tray to eliminate contact.
  6. Avoid littering and throw away any used bet slips or non-winning lotto tickets in the garbage cans.

2D Lotto Prizes for Standard/Straight and Rambolito Plays

PCSO 2D Lotto comes with different prizes for its Straight/Standard and Rambolito plays.

In Straight or Standard play, a bettor who matches the two drawn winning numbers in exact order wins PhP 4,000.

In Rambolito Play, the bettor receives PhP 2,000 in case he matches the two different digits in any order.

2D Lotto FAQs – Everything you Need to Know about 2D Lotto

How do I win a prize in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you select two (2) numbers, one for each column composed of digits 1 to 31.

If your number combination matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you select Rambolito option in the playing card.

In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize even if your marked combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much less than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the 2D results in any order.

How much do I win if I match all the 2D winning numbers but NOT in exact order?

You win PhP 2,000 but only if you selected the Rambolito option.

You do not win anything in Straight or Standard Play if your 2D number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.

How do I void an entry in the EZ2 play slip?

To cancel or disregard a specific 2D Lotto entry, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the bet slip to the cashier.

Please note that you can only void a 2D Lotto number combination before purchasing the ticket. A 2D Lotto entry that has been printed by the terminal can no longer be voided or canceled.

I am below 18 years old, am I allowed to play 2D Lotto?

PCSO only allows persons aged 18 and above to play the 2D Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place owing to the on-going COVID-19 epidemic.

What happens if the draw date indicated in the 2D Lotto ticket is wrong?

2D Lotto tickets, once generated, can no longer be modified. Hence, bettors are advised to examine their tickets before leaving the lotto outlet. Bettors are responsible for verifying the information printed on their tickets.

Can I play 2D Lotto in Advance?

You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just select your preferred number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your 2D Lotto entry shall then be played multiple times based on the number of draws you marked.

For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen 2D Lotto entry shall be valid for the succeeding six (6) 2D Lotto draws.

PCSO Official Announcements & Press Statements

February 10, 2021– PCSO warns the public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. PCSO states it has no such platform yet in place that will cater to such transactions.

January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto draws starting August 4, 2020.

July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major lotto games. Ticket prices were previously increased to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Act.
