PCSO uses pari mutel wagering system in calculating Lotto 6/42 prizes. This means that the actual prize that each winner shall get depends on the gross sales and number of winners on a certain prize level.

Each 6/42 Lotto combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your PCSO Lotto 6/42 ticket and keep it in safe and dry place.

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following guidelines in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Players with no face mask will not be allowed to buy 6/42 Lotto tickets.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
- Bring your own pen when placing bets.
- Use the money tray to eliminate physical contact.
- Apply alcohols or sanitizers before you leave the outlet.
- Use the garbage bins provided to throw away used play slips and/or old tickets.
National Lotto 6/42 System Bets – Improve your Odds of Winning the Jackpot
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/42 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.
The system plays available in 6/42 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a player who picks this option would need to select seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the player will need to mark a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.
In essence, more and more number combinations are created as the selected numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.
In the case of System 5-Roll, the bettor marks five (5) numbers instead of six. These 5 numbers are automatically combined with the remaining thirty-seven (37) numbers, creating 37 six-number combinations in total.
Remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall ticket cost will be. The overall ticket cost is PhP 20 times the number of combinations created.

You win a prize by getting at least three (3) numbers of the drawn 6/42 Lotto number combination. The more matching numbers, the bigger the prizes you will win.
If you match three (3) out of six (6), you win PhP 20. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 800 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 24,000.
If you got all the winning numbers, you get the jackpot prize which starts at PhP 5.94 Million.
You can increase your odds of hitting the jackpot by choosing up to 12 numbers using a system bet. This type of bet creates a bigger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
