Before continuing, please remember that you need to be at least 18 years old to play.
To play PCSO’s Lotto 6/42 game, follow these detailed instructions:
- Go to the nearest authorized PCSO lotto agent and get a bet card with PCSO Lotto 6/42 logo.
- Select six (6) digits that will compose your 6/42 Lotto combination. You can choose from numbers 1 to 42.
- If you can’t think of any number combination, mark the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the system automatically generate the number combination for you.
- You can also improve your chances of winning using the 6/42 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can choose more than the usual six (6) numbers thus increasing your total number combinations.
- For Advance Plays, mark the number of succeeding draws in the Draw panel.
- Give your play card and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
- Check the 6/42 Lotto Result right after the scheduled draw to see if your ticket matches the winning number combination.
PCSO Lotto 6/42 ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the Lotto 6/42 ticket. Store it in a secure and dry place.
Your 6/42 Lotto ticket needs to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket.
How to Play: Each Lotto 6/42 ticket costs P20.00. You can select your own 6-number combination from 1 to 42 on each board or play Lucky Pick (LP) and let the computer choose your numbers. - Always wear your face mask. Players without face mask will not be permitted to play 6/42 Lotto.
- Follow social distancing when buying 6/42 Lotto tickets.
- Use your own pen when placing bets.
- Put the bet slips and cash in the tray provided by the outlet to lessen physical contact.
- Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Hand sanitizers or alcohols are available in the betting area.

National Lotto 6/42 System Bets – Improve the Chances of Winning
6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
These are the choices available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
With System 7, a player picks seven (7) numbers which creates a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the bettor selects eight (8) numbers, producing a total of 28 combinations.
The more numbers chosen, the higher the number of combinations generated. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
With regard to System 5-Roll, you only have to choose five (5) numbers instead of the typical six-number combination. The remaining unmarked numbers in the bet card (37 in all) will be combined with the 5 numbers you marked, thus producing 37 six-number combinations in total.
Please remember that your overall ticket cost will be much higher in system bets because of the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The overall ticket cost shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations generated.

How to win a prize in Lotto 6/42?
You win a prize in Lotto 6/42 by getting at least three (3) drawn numbers in any order. Higher prizes awaits those who will get four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.
Matching three (3) of the winning combination gives you PhP 20, four (4) matching numbers wins you a prize in the amount of PhP 800 while five (5) numbers gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 24,000.
If you got all the six (6) numbers correctly, you take home the jackpot prize of no less than PhP 5.9 Million.
You can increase your chances of winning by playing a system bet. With this option, you can pick up to 12 numbers per column in the play slip, thus producing up to 924 number combinations.
There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket cost shall depend on the overall number of created combinations.

How many Advance Draws can I play in Lotto 6/42?
You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the present draw. To play in advance, just select your desired number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the betting card. Your Lotto 6/42 combination will then be played repeatedly according to the number of draws you picked.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Lotto 6/42 combination shall be valid for the six (6) consecutive PCSO Lotto 6/42 draws including the current draw.
How can I choose more than 6 numbers in the 6/42 Lotto bet slip?
You can select more than 6 numbers by playing any of the system bets for PCSO Lotto 6/42. You can choose from System 7 (7 numbers), System 8 (8 numbers), System 9 (8 numbers), System 10 (10 numbers), System 11 (11 numbers) and System 12 (12 numbers).

I changed my mind, can I ask for a refund of my 6/42 Lotto payment?
You cannot cancel, void or refund your PCSO Lotto 6/42 ticket after it is printed by the system. Bettors have the sole duty of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the PCSO Lotto 6/42 ticket including the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.
Thus, you need to double-check all the numbers and options you chose before you give the play card to the teller.
What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/42 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

March 10, 2021– PCSO warns the public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. The agency confirms it has no such platform yet in place that will cater to such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 4-Digit and 6-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– All major games ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously increased to PhP 24 as required by the TRAIN Act.
