These are the detailed steps when playing 6/42 Lotto:
- Go to the nearest PCSO-authorized lottery outlet and look for a betting card with PCSO Lotto 6/42 logo.
- Mark a combination of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Two (42) in each column of the betting card.
- Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option allows the system to automatically choose the number combination for you.
- Optionally mark one of the options under the 6/42 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can select more than the usual six number combination.
- For multiple draws, mark the number of consecutive draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Give your playing card and payment to the cashier and get your generated ticket once printed.
- View the 6/42 Lotto Result after the 9 PM scheduled draw to know if you matched the winning combination.
Each 6/42 Lotto number combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

PCSO Lotto 6/42 System Plays – Ways to Improve the Chances of Winning
6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
The available system bets in 6/42 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
With System 7, a bettor marks seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the bettor chooses eight (8) numbers, generating a total of 28 combinations.
The more numbers picked, the higher the number of combinations created. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
In the case of System 5R, the bettor picks five (5) numbers instead of six. These 5 numbers are automatically combined with the remaining thirty-seven (37) numbers, generating 37 combinations in total.
Note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall bet cost will be. The total cost of the ticket is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.
