How to Play Swertres Lotto
Follow these detailed instructions to learn how to play the Swertres game:
- Pick three (3) digits between 0 to 9, one from each column. These digits will be your Swertres combination.
- Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option lets the computer to automatically generate the number combination for you.
- Mark Rambolito if you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the system automatically permutates and generates all the possible combinations for the numbers you selected.
- Select the play amount in the AMT column.
- Mark the number of draws you want to play in the Draw panel.
- Give your play card and payment to the cashier and get your generated ticket once printed.
- View the Swertres result here right after the scheduled draw to verify if your ticket matches the winning combination.
Each Swertres number combination costs PhP 12. The play amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the your Swertres ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Do not soak in water, fold or iron or write anything on your Swertres ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets need to be machine-validated when claiming prizes.
Note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim lotto prizes.

During this time of pandemic, PCSO requires Swertres Lotto players to follow the protocol below when transacting in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Players with no face mask will not be permitted to place Swertres bets.

How can I win prizes in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you pick three (3) digits, one for each column composed of digits 0 to 9.
If your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you select Rambolito option in your play slip.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize even if your chosen combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much smaller than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your chosen number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your selected combination has one repeating digit.
If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

Does PCSO have Swertres draws during holidays?
PCSO usually suspends its lotto draws during regular holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO shortens its draw schedule so that all draws are completed early in the day.
Are Swertres Lotto Prizes subject to tax?
Swertres prizes are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Act since the maximum Swertres prize is only PhP 4,500.
Only prizes exceeding PhP 10,000 are taxable.
