PCSO Lotto 6/42 ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Lotto 6/42 System Plays – Ways to Increase your Chances of Winning the Jackpot
6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
The system plays available in 6/42 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are produced in System 7 because a bettor who selects this option would have to choose seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the player will have to choose a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.
The overall number of combinations increases as the chosen numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
With System 5-Roll, the bettor will only need to select five (5) numbers. The remaining (unselected) 37 numbers will be combined with the 5 picked numbers. This generates a total of 37 six-number combinations.
Please note that your total ticket cost will be much higher in system plays due to the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The overall cost of the ticket shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

You win a prize in Lotto 6/42 by matching at least three (3) winning numbers in any order. Higher prizes awaits those who will match four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.
Getting three (3) of the winning combination wins you PhP 20, four (4) matching numbers wins you a prize in the amount of PhP 800 while five (5) numbers gives you a fixed prize equal to PhP 24,000.
If you got all the numbers, you get the jackpot prize which starts at PhP 5.94 Million.
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot by selecting up to 12 numbers using a system bet. This type of bet generates a larger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.

How many combinations are there in System 5R for 6/42 Lotto?
System 5R (5-Roll) is the Philippine Lotto 6/42 system bet which allows the player to select only five (5) numbers instead of the usual 6 number combination.
To complete the combination, the computer automatically pairs each of the remaining 37 “unselected” numbers in the play slip to the five numbers you already selected.
This produces a total of 37 combinations and ensures that you will get at least one (1) winning number in your combinations.
System 5R costs Php 740 (Php 20 x 37).
