PCSO employs a payout system for PCSO Lotto 6/42 based on ‘pari mutuel’ system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lotto bets in a given draw, then split the pool by the total number of winners.
Here is the PCSO Lotto 6/42 payout system:
- If you got six (6) numbers of the winning number combination in any order, you win the jackpot for the Lotto 6/42 game. The top prize starts at PhP 5,940,000.
- In case you got five (5) of the six (6) numbers drawn, you receive a fixed prize worth PhP 24,000.
- In case your combination matches four (4) out of the six (6) numbers drawn, you get a fixed amount worth PhP 800.
- If your combination matches three (3) out of the six (6) numbers drawn, you get PhP 20.

- Pick six (6) digits that will compose your 6/42 Lotto combination. You can pick from numbers 1 to 42.

Each Lotto 6/42 combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total bet amount would range from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following rules in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors without face mask will not be permitted to place 6/68 Lotto bets.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
- Bring your own ball pen when purchasing lotto tickets.
- Use the tray provided when handing out your bet slip and payment.
- Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Alcohol or hand sanitizers are available in the betting area.

PCSO Lotto 6/42 System Plays – Ways to Improve the Chances of Winning
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/42 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and creates multiple combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the options available in case you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
In System 7, a bettor chooses seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the player selects a total of eight (8) numbers creating a total of 28 combinations.
The more numbers picked, the higher the number of combinations produced. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
In the case of System 5-Roll, the bettor will only have to choose five (5) numbers. The remaining (unmarked) 37 numbers will be combined with the 5 chosen numbers. This creates a total of 37 combinations.
Please note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall bet cost will be. The overall ticket cost is PhP 20 times the number of combinations generated.

You win a prize by matching at least three (3) numbers of the winning 6/42 Lotto number combination. The more matching numbers, the bigger the prizes you will receive.
Getting three (3) of the winning combination wins you PhP 20, four (4) matching numbers wins you a prize in the amount of PhP 800 while five (5) numbers gives you a fixed prize equal to PhP 24,000.
Matching all the winning numbers gives you the jackpot prize worth no less than PhP 5.94 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system play. This option allows you to pick up to 12 numbers instead of just 6, thereby generating a higher number of combinations.
The system plays you can choose from are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket cost is PhP 20 multiplied by the total number of generated combinations.

March 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the betting public against buying tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. The agency states it has no such platform yet in place that will support such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major games. Ticket prices were previously raised to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Law.
