PCSO uses a prize structure for Megalotto 6/45 based on ‘pari mutuel’ wagering system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a certain draw, then split the pool by the total number of winners.

Here are the different prizes for each tier of the Mega Lotto payout system:

• If your number matches six (6) out of the six (6) numbers drawn in any order, you hit the current jackpot for the Mega Lotto 6/45 game. Initial jackpot is PhP 8,910,000 but this amount gets larger every time nobody gets the jackpot.
• If you got five (5) numbers of the winning combination, you get the second prize worth PhP 32,000.
• If you matched four (4) numbers of the winning combination, you receive a fixed amount worth PhP 1,000.
• If you got three (3) numbers of the winning number combination, you get a prize worth PhP 30.

A 20% tax will be automatically withheld from your prizes if its total amount exceeds PhP 10,000.

Before continuing, note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play.

Here’s the complete instructions for playing this popular million-peso game:

1. Go to the nearest authorized PCSO lotto agent and look for a playing card with Mega Lotto 6/45 logo.
2. Choose a set of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Five (45) in each column of the play slip.
3. If you cannot think of any number combination, choose Lucky Pick (LP) to let the terminal generate the number combination for you.
4. You can also select up to twelve (12) numbers using the 6/45 Lotto System Play to raise your odds of winning the jackpot.
5. If you want to join multiple draws, mark the number of succeeding draws in the Draw panel.
6. Give your play card and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
7. View the 6/45 Lotto Result after the 9 PM live draw to verify if you won a prize.

Megalotto 6/45 ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket. Store it in a secure and dry place.

Your Lotto 6/45 ticket must be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket.

To win the Jackpot, you must match all 6 numbers. The Initial Jackpot Prize (IJP) for Megalotto 6/45 is 8,910,000.00 (net of agent’s prize commission). If no one wins the jackpot in a particular MegaLotto 6/45 draw, the prize amount is carried forward into the next MegaLotto 6/45 draw. If there is more than one jackpot winner, the Jackpot prize will then be divided equally among all the winners.

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following guidelines in all lotto outlets in the country.

1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Players without face mask will not be allowed to play 6/45 Lotto.
2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
3. Use your own ball pen when purchasing lotto tickets.
4. Use the tray provided when handing out your betting card and payment.
5. Use the alcohols, disinfectant or hand sanitizer provided before leaving the outlet.
6. Avoid littering and put away used bet slip or non-winning lotto tickets in the trash bins.

Lotto 6/45 System Bets – Learn How to Increase your Chances of Winning

6/45 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

The system bets available in 6/45 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).

A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a bettor who marks this option would have to choose seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the player will need to select a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.

The more numbers selected, the higher the number of combinations generated. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.

With System 5-Roll, you only have to choose five (5) numbers instead of the regular six-number combination. The remaining unmarked numbers in the bet slip (40 in all) will be paired with the 5 numbers you selected, thus generating 40 six-number combinations in all.

Please note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall ticket cost will be. The total cost of the ticket is PhP 20 times the number of combinations created.

You win a prize in 6/45 Megalotto by getting at least three (3) drawn numbers in any order. Bigger prizes awaits those who will get four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.

If you got three (3) out of six (6), you win PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize worth PhP 32,000.

If you match all the winning numbers, you get the jackpot prize which starts at PhP 8.9 Million.

You can boost your chances of winning by opting for a system play. With this option, you can pick up to 12 numbers per column in the bet slip, thus generating up to 924 combinations.

What is SYS 9 in Lotto 6/45?

System 9 allows you to select a nine (9) number combination instead of the typical combination comprised of six (6) numbers. This type of Megalotto 6/45 system bet generates a total of 84 combinations and costs PhP 1,680 (Php 20 x 84 combinations).
