PCSO employs a prize structure for Mega Lotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ betting system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lotto bets in a given draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.
The following is the Megalotto payout structure:
- Getting six (6) out of the six (6) winning numbers in any order gives you the current jackpot for Megalotto 6/45. The jackpot starts at PhP 8,910,000.
- In case you got five (5) of the six (6) winning numbers, you receive a fixed prize worth PhP 32,000.
- A third prize worth PhP 1,000 awaits those who will get four (4) out of the six (6) drawn winning numbers.

Before proceeding further, keep in mind that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play.
Here’s how you can play the Mega Lotto 6/45:
- Go to the nearest PCSO-authorized lotto outlet and grab a bet slip with Mega Lotto 6/45 logo.
- Select a set of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Five (45) in each column of the betting card.
- Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option allows the computer to automatically choose the numbers for you.
- Optionally select one of the options under the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can select more than the usual six number combination.
- For multiple draws, choose the number of succeeding draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Pay the ticket price and get your generated ticket once done.
- Check the 6/45 Lotto Result after the 9 PM live draw to see if you matched the winning number combination.
6/45 Mega Lotto ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your Megalotto ticket. Store it in a safe and dry place.
Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your Mega Lotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets need to be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.

During this time of pandemic, PCSO requires 6/45 Lotto bettors to follow the regulations below when transacting in all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Always wear your face mask. Players without face mask will not be permitted to purchase 6/45 Lotto tickets.
- Follow physical distancing when buying 6/45 Lotto tickets.
- Bring your own ball pen.
- Put the play slips and money in the tray provided by the lotto outlet to lessen physical contact.
- Use disinfectants or alcohols before you leave the lotto outlet.
- Avoid littering and put away any used betting card or non-winning tickets in the trash cans.
6/45 Megalotto System Plays – Ways to Increase the Chances of Winning
6/45 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the default six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
The system bets available in 6/45 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
In System 7, a player picks seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the bettor picks a total of eight (8) numbers producing a total of 28 combinations.
To sum up, more and more number combinations are created as the marked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.
In System 5-Roll, you only mark five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5-Roll, the 5 numbers you have chosen are automatically partnered with each of the remaining 40 digits in the playing card, producing a total of 40 combinations.
Keep in mind that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall ticket cost will be. The overall ticket cost is PhP 20 times the number of combinations produced.

How do I win a prize in 6/45 Mega Lotto?
In Megalotto, you win a prize by matching at least three (3) out of the six (6) drawn numbers. More matching number means higher prizes for you.
Getting three (3) of the winning combination gives you PhP 30, four (4) matching numbers gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) numbers gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 32,000.
If you got all the winning numbers, you get the jackpot prize which begins at PhP 8.91 Million.
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot by selecting up to 12 numbers using a system play. This type of bet generates a bigger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
You can select from seven available system plays. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket cost shall depend on the overall number of created combinations.

How many combinations are there in System 12 for 6/45 Mega Lotto?
System 12 is the 6/45 Megalotto system play that lets players to select a total of twelve (12) numbers instead of the typical six (6) numbers. This play type creates 924 combinations in all and costs PhP 18,480 (Php 20 x 924 combinations).
To play System 12, simply pick your preferred 12-number combination and then mark the number 12 in the SYS section of the 6/45 Lotto playing card.
How to Play System 11 in 6/45 Lotto?
System 11 lets you to choose a eleven (11) number combination instead of the regular combination comprised of six (6) numbers. This type of Megalotto system bet creates a total of 462 combinations and costs PhP 9,240 (Php 20 x 462 combinations).
To play System 11, just choose your preferred 11-number combination and then mark the number 11 in the SYS section of the 6/45 Lotto betting card.
What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
What if I made a mistake in marking my 6/45 Lotto numbers?
To cancel or disregard a specific Mega Lotto 6/45 number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the playing card to the teller.
Please note that you can only void your Mega Lotto entry before purchasing the ticket. Any Megalotto number combination that has been printed by the computer can no longer be voided or canceled.
