PCSO employs a prize structure for Megalotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lotto bets in a certain draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.

Below is the updated Megalotto 6/45 prize table:

• If your combination matches six (6) out of the six (6) numbers drawn in any order, you take home the latest jackpot prize for the Megalotto 6/45 game. Initial jackpot is PhP 8,910,000 but this amount grows bigger every time nobody wins the jackpot.
• In case your number matches five (5) out of the six (6) winning numbers, you receive a second prize worth PhP 32,000.
• If your number matches four (4) out of the six (6) numbers drawn, you win a fixed amount worth PhP 1,000.
• If you matched three (3) numbers of the winning number combination, you win a prize worth PhP 30.

These are the complete steps when playing 6/45 Lotto:

1. Go to any PCSO-authorized lotto outlet near you and grab the Mega Lotto 6/45 bet card.
2. Pick six (6) numbers between 1 to 45. These digits will be your 6/45 Lotto combination.
3. If you can’t think of any number combination, choose Lucky Pick (LP) to have the system generate the numbers for you.
4. You can also raise your chances of winning through the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can choose more than the usual six (6) numbers thus increasing your total number combinations.
5. If you want to join multiple draws, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw section.
6. Give your playing card and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
7. After the draw, check the 6/45 Lotto Result to know if you won the prize.

One Megalotto 6/45 combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Lotto 6/45 System Plays – How to Improve the Chances of Winning

You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.

The system plays available in 6/45 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).

In System 7, a bettor selects seven (7) numbers which creates a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the bettor picks a total of eight (8) numbers generating a total of 28 combinations.

The more numbers marked, the higher the number of combinations generated. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.

With System 5-Roll, you only select five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5R, the 5 numbers you have chosen are automatically combined with each of the remaining 40 digits in the play slip, producing a total of 40 combinations.

Note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall ticket cost will be. The overall ticket cost is PhP 20 times the number of combinations created.

In Mega Lotto 6/45, you win a prize by getting at least three (3) out of the six (6) drawn numbers. More matching number means higher prizes for you.

Matching three (3) of the winning number combination wins you PhP 30, four (4) matching numbers wins you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) numbers wins you a fixed amount equal to PhP 32,000.

If you got all the six (6) winning numbers correctly, you get the jackpot prize of at least PhP 8.91 Million.

Increase your chances of winning using a system play. This option allows you to pick up to 12 numbers instead of just 6, thus creating a larger number of combinations.

Megalotto winnings above PhP 10,000 are subject to the 20% tax as imposed by the TRAIN Law.

What is SYS 10 in Lotto 6/45?

System 10 is the Mega Lotto system play that lets players to pick a total of ten (10) numbers instead of the typical six (6) numbers. This play type produces 210 combinations in all and costs PhP 4,200 (Php 20 x 210 combinations).

March 10, 2021– PCSO discourages everyone from buying lotto tickets from persons claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting platform. PCSO confirms it does not have any such platform yet.

January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 4D and 6D Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
