How to Play Swertres Lotto
Follow these detailed instructions to learn how to play the Swertres game:
- Select three (3) digits that will compose your Swertres combination. You can choose from numbers 0 to 9, one number for each column.
- If you can’t think of any number combination, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the terminal randomly choose the number combination for you.
- Choose Rambolito System Play if you want the system to automatically permutate the possible combinations of the digits you have picked.
- Select your play amount in the AMT section.
- Mark the number of draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
- Give your bet slip and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket once it is printed.
- After the draw, view the Swertres result to verify if you won the prize.
Swertres ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the your Swertres ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Your ticket must be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket.
Please remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim prizes.
Matching all your numbers with the winning combination in exact order gives you 4,500.00 for every 12.00 play.
New Guidelines to be Followed by Bettors when Playing Swertres Lotto
PCSO has implemented the guidelines below to be observed by Swertres Lotto players in the country.
- Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Players with no face mask will not be permitted to place Swertres bets.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
- Use your own pen.
- Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Alcohol or hand sanitizers are available in the betting area.
- Use the money tray to eliminate contact.

PCSO Swertres Lotto comes with different prizes for its Straight/Standard, Rambolito 3 and Rambolito 6 plays.
In Standard or Straight play, a bettor who matches all three drawn winning numbers in exact order receives PhP 4,500.
In Rambolito 3, the bettor receives PhP 1,500 in case he gets one pair of same digit and one different digit in any order while in Rambolito 6 the bettor receives PhP 750 if he gets the three different digits in any order.

How do I win a prize in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you select three (3) digits, one for each column consisting of digits 0 to 9.
If your entry matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in the play card.
In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize regardless if your chosen combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much smaller than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 if your selected number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 in case your selected number combination has one repeating digit.
If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

What if I cannot think of any Swertres number to play?
The Lucky Pick or LP option instructs the computer to automatically select the Swertres number combination for you if you cannot think of any number to bet on.
To use this option, just select the LP in the playslip.
Are Swertres Lotto winnings taxable?
Swertres prizes are not subject to the 20% tax imposed by the TRAIN Act since the highest Swertres winning is only PhP 4,500.
Only winnings above PhP 10,000 are taxable.
Can I play Swertres Lotto in Advance?
You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just select your preferred number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your Swertres entry will then be played repeatedly based on the number of draws you picked.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Swertres entry shall be valid for the subsequent six (6) Swertres draws.

What is Rambolito?
Rambolito is a Swertres Lotto game variation that lets its players receive prizes even if they did not match the winning numbers in exact order.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 or Rambolito 3.
In Rambolito 6, you mark a number combination consisting of three different digits (e.g. 1-4-3), resulting to a total of six (6) number combinations. If the Swertres results match your number combination in any order, you take home a prize of PhP 750.
In Rambolito 3, you select a number combination composed of one repeating digit and another digit (e.g. 8-6-6), creating a total of three (3) number combinations. If any of your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in any order, you take home a prize of PhP 1,500.
To play Rambolito, mark the Rambolito option in the Swertres bet card.

February 10, 2021– PCSO warns the betting public against buying lotto tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. PCSO said it has no such system yet in place that will support such transactions.
