PCSO employs a prize system for Megalotto 6/45 based on ‘pari mutuel’ system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a given draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.

- Go to the nearest authorized PCSO lottery outlet and grab a play card with Mega Lotto 6/45 logo.
- Select a combination of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Five (45) in each column of the betting card.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to let the system choose the number combination for you.
- Optionally mark one of the options in the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can pick more than the regular six number combination.
- If you want to join multiple draws, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw section.
- Give your bet slip and payment to the teller and get your printed ticket once printed.
- See the 6/45 Lotto Result after the 9pm scheduled draw to know if you got the winning combination.
One Megalotto number combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of the Mega Lotto ticket and keep it in safe and dry place.
Do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your 6/45 Megalotto ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.

- Use the money tray to reduce physical contact.

Megalotto System Bets – Learn How to Improve the Odds of Winning
6/45 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the default six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
The system plays available in 6/45 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
With System 7, a bettor picks seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the player marks eight (8) numbers, generating a total of 28 combinations.
The total number of combinations increases as the chosen numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
With regard to System 5-Roll, a player picks only five (5) numbers and—for the sixth number—pairs these off with each of the remaining forty (40) numbers, producing a total of 40 six-number combinations.
Remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall bet cost will be. The overall price of the ticket is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

What are the ways to win in 6/45 Lotto?
In Megalotto, you win a prize by matching at least three (3) out of the six (6) numbers drawn. More matching number means higher prizes for you.
If you got three (3) out of the six (6) drawn numbers, you receive PhP 30, four (4) out of six (6) wins you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 32,000.
If you got all the six (6) numbers correctly, you receive the jackpot prize of at least PhP 8.91 Million.
You can increase your chances of hitting the jackpot by picking up to 12 numbers using a system play. This type of bet produces a larger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
The cost of tickets in system plays depend on the overall number of combinations created.

I am below 18 years old, am I allowed to play Mega Lotto 6/45?
Only persons 18 years old and above are allowed to play the Megalotto. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place because of the current COVID-19 epidemic.
What happens if the draw date indicated in the 6/45 Lotto ticket is wrong?
Mega Lotto 6/45 tickets, once printed, can no longer be modified. Hence, bettors are advised to verify their tickets before leaving the lotto outlet. Players are responsible for checking the information printed on their tickets.
How to Play System 9 in 6/45 Lotto?
System 9 allows you to choose a nine (9) number combination instead of the regular combination composed of six (6) numbers. This type of 6/45 Mega Lotto system bet produces a total of 84 combinations and costs PhP 1,680 (Php 20 x 84 combinations).
To play System 9, simply pick your preferred 9-number combination and then mark the number 9 in the SYS panel of the 6/45 Lotto betting card.
Are Mega Lotto 6/45 Prizes subject to tax?
6/45 Mega Lotto winnings above PhP 10,000 are subject to the 20% tax as imposed by the TRAIN Act.

What is Documentary Stamps Tax?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

To claim 6/45 Megalotto winnings below PhP 5,000, proceed to the nearest authorized lotto outlet or PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.
Lotto prizes above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at any PCSO branch office.

PCSO News and Official Announcements
March 10, 2021– PCSO warns the betting public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. The agency states it has no such platform yet in place that will support such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 6D and 4D Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto draws on August 4, 2020.
July 18, 2020– PCSO announces the return of the PhP 20 ticket price of its major games. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 after the TRAIN Act took effect.
