- Go to the nearest authorized PCSO lottery outlet and look for a betting card with Mega Lotto 6/45 logo.
- Pick six (6) digits that will comprise your 6/45 Lotto combination. You can pick from numbers 1 to 45.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to let the system automatically choose the numbers for you.
- Optionally pick one of the options under the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can select more than the regular six number combination.
- Choose the number of consecutive draws you want to play in the Draw panel.
- Hand over your bet slip and payment to the teller and get your generated ticket once printed.
- See the 6/45 Lotto Result after the 9pm scheduled draw to verify if you got the winning number combination.
Each Megalotto number combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total bet amount would range from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your Mega Lotto ticket and store it in secure and dry place.
Your Megalotto ticket must be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket.

You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces multiple combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the choices available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a bettor who chooses this option would have to mark seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the player will need to choose a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.
To sum up, more and more number combinations are created as the selected numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.

Please remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall ticket cost will be. The overall ticket cost is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

Matching three (3) of the winning combination wins you PhP 30, four (4) matching numbers gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) numbers wins you a fixed amount equal to PhP 32,000.
If you got all the six (6) winning numbers correctly, you take home the jackpot prize of no less than PhP 8.91 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system play. This option allows you to choose up to 12 numbers rather than just 6, thereby creating a higher number of combinations.

March 10, 2021– PCSO discourages everyone from buying tickets from entities claiming to be part of a alleged PCSO ‘online’ betting platform. PCSO states it does not have any such system yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 4-Digit and 6-Digit Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO announces the return of the PhP 20 ticket price of its major lotto games. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 after the TRAIN Act took effect.
