6/45 Megalotto ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

6/45 Mega Lotto System Bets – How to Increase your Chances of Winning
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces several combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the options available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
In System 7, a bettor selects seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the bettor picks a total of eight (8) numbers creating a total of 28 combinations.
The overall number of combinations increases as the selected numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In System 5-Roll, you only need to select five (5) numbers instead of the typical six-number combination. The remaining unmarked numbers in the bet card (40 in all) will be partnered with the 5 numbers you picked, thus creating 40 combinations in total.
Note that your overall bet cost will be much higher in system plays due to the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The overall ticket cost shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

What are the ways to win in 6/45 Lotto?
You win a prize by matching at least three (3) numbers of the winning 6/45 Lotto number combination. The more matching numbers, the higher the prizes you will get.
Matching three (3) of the winning number combination wins you PhP 30, four (4) matching numbers gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) numbers gives you a prize equal to PhP 32,000.
If you got all the six (6) numbers correctly, you get the jackpot prize of at least PhP 8.9 Million.
You can increase your odds of winning the jackpot by selecting up to 12 numbers using a system bet. This type of bet generates a bigger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
The system plays you can select from are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
The price of tickets in system plays depend on the total number of combinations generated.

How much does a Megalotto System 11 ticket cost?
System 11 allows you to pick a eleven (11) number combination instead of the usual combination comprised of six (6) numbers. This type of 6/45 Mega Lotto system play creates a total of 462 combinations and costs PhP 9,240 (Php 20 x 462 combinations).

What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

To claim Mega Lotto prizes below PhP 5,000, proceed to the authorized lotto outlet or nearest PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.
Lotto winnings above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at any PCSO branch office.
Lotto prizes above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO main office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.

March 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the betting public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. The agency states it has no such platform yet in place that will cater to such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 6D and 4D Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
