Since its introduction in June 2002, 3D Lotto (Swertres Lotto) has become one of the most broadly played fixed-prize games in the country. PCSO has pegged the prizes of 3D Lotto to PhP 4,500 for Straight Play, PhP 1,500 for Rambolito 3 Play and PhP 750 for Rambolito 6 Play. Your odds of getting these prizes are 1 in 1000, 1 in 333, and 1 in 167, respectively.

How to Play 3D Lotto
Follow these complete instructions to learn how to play the 3D Lotto game:
- Choose a combination of three (3) numbers from one (1) to nine (9) in each column on a 3D Lotto playing card.
- If you can’t think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to allow the terminal choose the 3D Lotto number combination for you.
- Choose Rambolito in case you want the computer to automatically generate all the possible combinations of the numbers you have chosen.
- Select the amount that you wish to play for each combination.
- For Advance Plays, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw Draw section.
- Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
- Check the 3D result after the live draw to see if you got the winning number combination.
Each 3D Lotto number combination costs PhP 12. The play amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the your 3D Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Your ticket has to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.
Note that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim prizes.
Lucky Pick is also available in the Rambolito System Play, but the option of repeating digits is not applicable.
Additional Health and Safety Reminders when Playing 3D Lotto
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following protocol in all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Put on your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting system shall be applied at all PCSO lotto outlets in the country.
- Follow physical distancing when buying 3D Lotto tickets.
- Use your own ball pen to decrease the risk of contracting the virus.
- Put the bet slips and cash in the tray provided by the lotto outlet to decrease physical contact.
- Apply sanitizers or alcohols before leaving the outlet.
- Use the trash cans provided to put away used play slips and/or old lotto tickets.
3D Lotto Prizes for Rambolito and Standard/Straight Plays
PCSO 3D Lotto comes with three different prizes for its Standard/Straight, Rambolito 3 and Rambolito 6 plays.
In Standard or Straight play, a bettor who gets all three drawn winning numbers in exact order receives PhP 4,500.
In Rambolito 3, the bettor receives PhP 1,500 in case he gets one pair of same digit and one different digit in any order while in Rambolito 6 the bettor takes home PhP 750 in case he matches the three different digits in any order.

How to win a prize in 3D Lotto?
You win a prize by playing 3D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you select three (3) numbers, one for each column consisting of numbers 0 to 9.
If your number combination matches the 3D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you choose Rambolito option in your playing card.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize even if your marked number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 if your selected number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your chosen number combination has one repeating digit.
If your number combination matches the 3D results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

What if I cannot think of any 3D Lotto number to play?
The Lucky Pick or LP option lets the computer to automatically choose the 3D Lotto number combination for you if you do not have any number in mind.
To use this option, just select the LP in the playslip.
What is the new name of Swertres Lotto?
PCSO already renamed its Suertres (Swertres) Lotto game to 3D Lotto. However, a lot of players still call it ‘Swertres’. Hence, this site still uses ‘Swertres’ in some of its articles when referring to 3D Lotto.
How many 3D Lotto draws can I play in advance?
You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just mark your desired number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your 3D Lotto entry will then be played repeatedly based on the number of draws you marked.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen 3D Lotto entry shall be valid for the succeeding six (6) 3D Lotto draws.
How do I win in Rambolito?
Rambolito is a 3D Lotto game variation that allows its bettors receive prizes even if they did not match the winning numbers in exact order.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 or Rambolito 3.
In Rambolito 6, you choose a number combination composed of three different digits (e.g. 1-4-3), generating a total of six (6) number combinations. If the 3D results match your number combination in any order, you win a prize of PhP 750.
In Rambolito 3, you pick a number combination composed of one repeating digit and another digit (e.g. 1-1-3), creating a total of three (3) number combinations. If any of your number combination matches the 3D results in any order, you receive a prize of PhP 1,500.
To play Rambolito, select the Rambolito option in the 3D Lotto bet card.
Are 3D Lotto winnings tax-exempt?
3D Lotto prizes are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Law because the highest 3D Lotto winning is only PhP 4,500.
Only winnings above PhP 10,000 are subject to 20% tax.
Where do I claim 3D Lotto Prizes?

February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from purchasing lotto tickets from entities claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. PCSO said it does not have any such system yet.
