Follow these detailed steps to learn how to play the Swertres game:
- Select your Swertres number combination by marking one (1) out of numbers 0 to 9 in each of the columns.
- Choose LP (Lucky Pick) if you want the system to automatically generate the numbers for you.
- Mark Rambolito in case you want to play the Rambolito System Play.
- Mark the bet amount in the AMT section.
- For Advance Plays, select the number of consecutive draws in the Draw section.
- Pay the corresponding ticket price to the teller and get your generated Swertres Lotto ticket.
- Access the Swertres result right after the scheduled draw to see if you won a prize.
One Swertres number combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the the Swertres ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize.

What are the ways to win in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you mark three (3) digits, one for each column composed of digits 0 to 9.
If your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you select Rambolito option in your play card.
In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize regardless if your marked number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 if your selected combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 in case your chosen combination has one repeating digit.
If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

The Lucky Pick or LP option lets the computer to automatically choose the Swertres number for you if you do not have any number in mind.
To use this option, just mark the LP in the playslip.
I bet on the wrong number combination by mistake, can I get a refund?
You cannot cancel, void or refund a Swertres ticket after it is printed by the terminal. Bettors have the sole duty of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the Swertres ticket including the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.
Thus, you need to verify all the numbers and options you marked before you give the bet slip to the teller.

How do I play Rambolito?
Rambolito is a Swertres Lotto game variation that allows its bettors win prizes even if they did not get the winning numbers in exact order.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 or Rambolito 3.
In Rambolito 6, you select a number combination with three different digits (e.g. 2-3-4), creating a total of six (6) number combinations. If the Swertres results match your number combination in any order, you win a prize worth PhP 750.
In Rambolito 3, you select a number combination consisting of one repeating digit and another digit (e.g. 8-6-6), creating a total of three (3) number combinations. If any of your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in any order, you win a prize of PhP 1,500.
To play Rambolito, select the Rambolito option in the Swertres bet card.
Are Swertres Lotto Prizes subject to tax?
Swertres winnings are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Act because the maximum Swertres winning is only PhP 4,500.
Only prizes exceeding PhP 10,000 are subject to 20% tax.

To claim Swertres Lotto winnings below PhP 5,000, proceed to the authorized lotto outlet or nearest PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements
February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from buying lotto tickets from entities claiming to be part of a alleged PCSO ‘online’ betting platform. The agency said it does not have any such platform yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 4D and 6D Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– All major games ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously increased to PhP 24 as mandated under the TRAIN Act.
