How to Play EZ2 Lotto

To play EZ2 Lotto, follow these detailed steps:

  1. Select two (2) digits that will comprise your EZ2 combination. You can select from numbers 1 to 31, one number for each column.
  2. If you can’t think of any number combination, mark the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the system randomly pick the number combination for you.
  3. Choose Rambolito System Play if you want the system to automatically generate the possible combinations of the numbers you have selected.
  4. Mark your play amount in the AMT column.
  5. Mark the number of draws you want to play in the Draw section.
  6. Hand over your play card and corresponding payment to the teller and get your ticket after it is generated.
  7. After the draw, see the EZ2 result to know if you won the prize.

One EZ2 number combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the EZ2 ticket. Keep it in a secure and dry place.

Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your EZ2 ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets must be machine-validated when claiming prizes.

Please remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim lotto prizes.

Just like 3D Lotto, 2D Lotto has three (3) draws each day. The first draw starts at 11AM followed by 4PM and the evening draws at 9PM.

New PCSO Protocols to be Observed when Playing EZ2 Lotto

In light of the on-going pandemic, EZ2 players must abide by the following rules and regulations imposed at all lotto outlets when buying tickets to ensure that the minimum health and safety guidelines are met.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Players with no face mask will not be allowed to buy EZ2 tickets.
  2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
  3. Use your own pen.
  4. Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Hand sanitizers or alcohols are available in the betting area.
  5. Use the money tray to minimize contact.
  6. Avoid littering and put away any used bet slips or old lotto tickets in the garbage bins.

EZ2 Prizes for Rambolito and Standard/Straight Plays

EZ2 Lotto is one of the digit games of PCSO. In EZ2 Lotto, matching the two (2) winning numbers in exact order wins you PhP 4,000 per 12 peso Standard play.

Betting via the Rambolito wins you a prize of PhP 2,000 if you match the two (2) winning numbers in any order.

How can I win prizes in EZ2 Lotto?

You win a prize by playing EZ2 in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you select two (2) digits, one for each column consisting of numbers 1 to 31.

If your number combination matches the EZ2 winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you mark Rambolito option in the bet card.

In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize even if your chosen combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much lower than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the EZ2 results in any order.

Are EZ2 Lotto winnings taxable?

EZ2 Lotto winnings are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Act because the maximum EZ2 winning is only PhP 4,000.

Only winnings above PhP 10,000 are subject to 20% tax.

How do I play Rambolito?

Rambolito is an EZ2 Lotto game variation that allows its players receive prizes even if they did not get the winning numbers in exact order.

With Rambolito, the two possible combination of your selected numbers will be generated (e.g. 01-09 and 09-01). If the EZ2 results match your number combination in any order, you take home a prize worth PhP 2,000.

To play Rambolito, mark the Rambolito option in the EZ2 play slip.

How much is an EZ2 ticket?

A bettor can purchase the EZ2 Lotto ticket for 12 Pesos per combination at the nearest authorized PCSO lotto outlet. This amount is inclusive of the Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

What is DST?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).

PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
