How to Play Swertres Lotto
To play Swertres Lotto, follow these detailed instructions:
- Mark three (3) numbers between 0 to 9, one from each column. These numbers will be your Swertres combination.
- Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option lets the computer to randomly choose the number combination for you.
- Mark Rambolito if you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the terminal automatically computes and generates all the possible combinations for the numbers you picked.
- Mark the play amount in the AMT section.
- Mark the number of draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
- Hand over your playing card and payment to the teller and get your printed ticket once printed.
- See the Swertres result here right after the live draw to know if your ticket matches the winning number combination.
Each Swertres combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your Swertres ticket. Keep it in a secure and dry place.
Your ticket needs to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.
Note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim lotto prizes.

New Rules to be Followed by Bettors when Playing Swertres Lotto
During this time of pandemic, PCSO requires Swertres bettors to observe the guidelines below when transacting in all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Wear your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting system shall be observed in all PCSO lotto outlets in the country.
- Observe physical distancing when buying Swertres tickets.
- Bring your own ball pen to lessen the risk of contracting the virus.
- Place the bet slips and money in the tray provided by the outlet to lessen physical contact.
- Use alcohols or disinfectants before leaving the outlet.
- Use the trash bins provided to put away used bet slips and/or old tickets.

Swertres is one of PCSO’s popular fixed-prize game. PCSO employs the following payout system for Swertres Lotto:
In Standard or Straight Play, a bettor receives PhP 4,500 if he gets all three winning numbers in exact order.
In Rambolito 3 play, the bettor takes home PhP 1,500 in case he matches one pair of same digit and another digit in any order while in Rambolito 6 play, the winner receives PhP 750 if he gets the three different digits in any order.

What are the ways to win in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you select three (3) numbers, one for each column consisting of digits 0 to 9.
If your entry matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you choose Rambolito option in your play slip.
In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize even if your marked combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much smaller than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your selected combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 in case your selected number combination has one repeating digit.
If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?
PCSO most of the time suspends its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO adjusts its draw schedule so that all draws are completed early in the afternoon.
What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Act).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

Do I win anything even if I DO NOT get the Swertres winning numbers in the same order?
You win either PhP 1,500 or PhP 750 but only if you chose the Rambolito option.
